Guest guest
Sat Nam, Is a mantra, a meditation and a kriya considered the same, maybe interchangeable? I am in the process of consolidating and cleaning up the Kundalini Yoga Info Cntr and I keep running across info that I put up in 2006 or 2007. It might have made sense to me then, but it doesn't necessarily do so now. I have a mantra section, a kriya section and conditions section. I have an over lapping in the kriya & conditions. In the books, I have, some kriys are listed as a mediation. Should I have a separte section called mediations and include the kriyas? Someone, in Slovenia, Kranj, Bohinj looked up 'karam shambavi mudra meditation' and found it in the Kriya section and missed the listing in Condtions which had more information. (My fault for doing it this way.) I did put a page referal in the Kriya section. And, I will check the rest of it out. So I am wondering what is the best way to do this? Should I just eliminate the Kriya section and have everything in conditions? Should I have a Mantra, Mudra and Meditions which will include the kriysa? Any thoughts from any of you on this will be welcome. Thank you, Sat Avtar Kaur http://www.kundaliniyogainfocntr.com/
Guest guest
Dearest Sat Avtar, I read on a recent post of yours where you said “I am not a teacher” but the fact is you are a teacher. I hope you will find a way to attend Aquarian Teacher Level 1 Training so all of your questions can be answered. Your site is lovely. We would be honored to host you in New Mexico at Yoga Santa Fe www.yogasantafe.com but anywhere you take this training would be wonderful. (Our Yoga Santa Fe site is undergoing some upgrades at the moment but Teacher Training information will be back up soon.) Kriyas can be meditations or yoga sets or sometimes a single yoga exercise or a specific breath. The Aquarian Teacher Level 1 Manual lays out the information in a most organized fashion. Your question: Should I have a separate section called mediations and include the kriyas? I am wondering what is the best way to do this? Should I just eliminate the Kriya section and have everything in conditions? Should I have a Mantra, Mudra and Meditations which will include the kriyas? Any thoughts from any of you on this will be welcome. Guest guest
Sat Nam Gurumeet Kaur Khalsa and all, I am most deeply honored that you have extended this invitation to me. Thank you. I am thinking about it. If not this year, there is always next year. You have planted the 'seed thought', my mind is working on it. We will see.
