Guest guest
This is our first summer solstice event in this mid-city Bible belt town! When I came here nearly 13 years ago, Yogi Bhajan told me to do one thing: " inspire the Southern's to do Kundalini Yoga and Meditation " . When I began to work in the school systems, as an educator and artist, then as a women's counselor in the fields of hiv/aids and drug rehab, I thought I was inspiring. But it took a little more. After I lost my job due to a grant lay-off two years ago, I opened and began my own yoga business, Yoga Nivas. It has consumed me! Now I know what being driven and pulled forth into the light really means. I work to keep my affirmations bringing me forward, serving others, giving the technology to all who need it and becoming fast growing one of the best and most successful, productive yoga teaching entities in the world. I love what I do and bringing my upbeat style to as many people as who need it is my goal--YOGA IN EVERY HOME--that's my motto. So, if you are not going out to the land of enchantment for our family summer solstice celebration and are on the east/southern end of the northern world, consider dropping by little ol' Knoxville--Marble City--Tennessee for some hot kundalni, hatha yoga, chakras, chatianya kirtan, sangita devi, dance, trance, power yoga and much much more!
