Guest guest
Sat Nam, Amar Atma Singh - Your appreciation is very kind. In turn, I'd like to thank you for founding this website forum, as it appears to be the only " publishing site of record " for introduction of evolutionary insight in the unfolding of Kundalini Yoga into the Aquarian Age. We have wonderful, authoritative sites, institutes and resources for maintaining the integrity of what Yogiji himself taught us. But most importantly, he taught us that our true spiritual teacher is inside of us, each of us, individually. SO, when this " Inner, Authoritative Teacher " begins to teach us things that extend beyond what we were even capable of understanding when Yogiji was here in bodily form teaching, What resources to we have for sharing this evolution? This Kundalini site is the only place I've found or become aware of that is " OPEN SOURCE " enough to allow such new material to emerge. Obviously, it will not be fully understood or embraced without one's own critical engagement, eyes and heart wide open, IF one is open to that. So, many have the complete right to ignore such posts as currently beyond their capacity to evaluate (which is the ways are, as we are each at our own levels and dimensions of understanding). And perhaps these insights are trivial to the legitimate perspectives of some others. But, at the same time, the insights we have attempted to share on this site (many files and documents in the " Files " section from SevaPlace01, and others) provide an introductory site and archival place where these things can be found, over time, as personal growth and evolution of one's personal interests goes onward. In regard to the " Male Lunar Nature " to be mastered by men - perhaps the most important teaching that Siri Singh Sahib Yogi Bhajan gave us, is regarding the CHIN as a Moon Center. In times of emotional shock or stress, this place on our facial structure is like a direct window into our emotional stress. Especially when a man takes up a protective or defending posture in direct confrontation with an outside oppressive force (let's say, like a " spiritual warrior " confronting the wrongdoing of a typical alpha male dominator type personality), it is like a " Samarai Moment. " It does not help the spiritual warrior to restore peacefulness successfully, if he is telegraphing his own internal emotional conflict (which he is to manage yogically, in order to function effectively). This window of the " exposed chin " becomes his Achilles Heel, in a martial artist sense of conflict management, and signals his point of greatest weakness and vulnerability. THIS is the evolutionary reason why the Male Form has genetically selected to place a BEARD on the face of men. This can be witnessed in two ways - under a full, untrimmed beard, the male face can relax because it's not being seen as an ultra-sensitive reflector of inner emotional state. For such a man to share his feelings calls for SPEECH that is articulate in conveying feeling, filtered through his inner sensitivity, intelligence and wisdom of life. Such men communicate feeling verbally, by choice, more powerfully and authentically than any emotional display can begin to convey visually. When a man approaches the world with an untrimmed beard There is no better example of this kind of male-ness than our teacher himself. On the other hand, there is also a corrupt and oppressive, egocentric way of using the beard to conceal feelings. When a man shaves the face except for mustache, short haired chin covering, and around the mouth, one ends up with a kind of " Fu Man Chu " scary masked kind of male visage, which is often adopted by alpha males who actually intend to be scary as a form of power in society. Regular trimming of a beard is a routine of the ego to shape and contrive one's worldly presence as " desired " . Negative Ego Agendas, male or female, approximate archetypes that seem at least " semi-demonic " (especially if consciously wielded and intended to control or manipulate others). So beards can also be instruments of domination. One must look to the heart and soul (into the eyes of the being) to learn the true motivation. But all of this revolves around the opportunities and vulnerabilities that Nature has created in the male form, at the chin, as a Moon Center. We have the need to master ourselves in this way in order to be and project a visage of kindness, strength, trustworthiness and authenticity - ON FIRST GLANCE, before any words are even spoken. This is where the vibrations of our Aura and the Subtle Body precede us in every encounter. And why Dr. Narayan Singh would always say, " Faces Never Lie, But People Do. " The Face is a Mirror of the Mind, and the Eyes are Windows to the Soul. And everything about everyOne everyBody can be known. So there are no secrets in the Aquarian Age, we'll all show up at our own self-developed " Face Value. " But this is why Kundalini Yogis, Sikhs and Khalsas don't trim the hair that we're gifted with. The art of living is in how we deal with that reality. Pony Tails, Braids or Turbans - each is a different approach to this issue, with varying degrees of success within oneself and society. The issue of facial hair is a constituent in sharpening the " razor's edge " of the path we walk on. For us, Razors are meant for walking on, not applying to our bodies. Thank you again for all you've done on behalf of Aquarian Publishing. We'll all have much more to share as our Lights of Enlightenment turn on and brighten up, and form Yin and Yang with all the shadows. for many Blessings, Krishna Singh Kundalini-Yoga , " Charles D.
