Sat Nam Ji's

On the last day of Summer Solstice 09, Sunder Singh Khalsa from Taiwan taught a

very elevating Kriya in his workshop called Diamond Kriya.

I'm sharing it openly as I gathered my notes from him, but I'm also looking for

anyone to provide the full times, with further detail. Ideally if a teacher or

someone from KRI knows location of the written kriya, that would be great so we

can all be sure of the details.

Couple points from his class:

Balance yourself between each exercise. Find your centered balance on your

sitting bones by swaying left and right like a snake. Then back a forth until

you find a spot totally centered and your breathing eases and your pelvic floor

and shoulders relax.

When you inhale after an exercise, hold the breath (with a little space

remaining) and meditate on the prana. Keeping an open heart and chest, feel the

energy moving in the body, up the spine and to the third eye point. Exhale

smoothly.

If you feel something, don't push it away... accept the feeling, allow it, but

also focus equally all of your other feelings and sensations. Allow and

contemplate all the feelings together.

Approach the exercises (and your life) with " Innocent Courage " . Maintain that

feeling.

Diamond Kriya

A Kriya to experience safety, and a life without doubt. Safety of knowing God's

pure light in your soul constantly. Use the safety to define your purpose in

life. Kriya will give you a diamond mind.

Begin: Find your balance in easy pose.

Body Drops with legs extended in front - 11x in class

Full time/amount unknown

Spinal Flex in Easy Pose, holding ankles/shins - 1-2m in class

Full time unknown

Body Drops with legs extended - about 26x in class

Full amount unknown

Spinal Flex in EP, holding ankles/shins - 2-3m in class

Full time unknown

Body Drops with legs extended - about 26x in class

Full amount unknown

Spinal Twists with arms to sides, parallel to ground, elbows bent 90 up, hands

in Gian Mudra. Do not let elbows drop below parallel. Inhale left. Exhale right

- about 3m in class

Full Time unknown. Drist unknown/not specified.

Bowing Sat Nams. Sit in Rock Pose with hands on knees or on floor. Vocalize

" Sat " as head comes to ground, " Nam " sitting up. 3-5m in class

Full time unknown.

Gian Mudra arm stretches. Hands in Gian Mudra by shoulders, elbows by ribs.

Inhale sharp, " puckering " the nostrils as you raise the arms straight up. Really

stretch up! Feel the ida and pingala being activated by the breath. Relax arms

down on exhale. End by inhaling and stretching up and spreading fingers. 3-5m in

class.

Full time unknown - Probably 5m.

BOF in Leaning Back Easy Pose. Tongue out. Drist on tip of nose. BOF through the

NOSE, not mouth. Focus on the nose. Lean back from base of spine about 10-15

degrees. Activate navel. Puts pressure on glands in throat. 3-5m in class.

Full time - Probably 5m.

[in these last two exercises, some visualization was given. Especially on the

last two exercises:

" Visualize light coming up from crown, and a connection through the spine to the

earth. Feel a pull up from the crown chakra. " ]

Diamond Crown with BOF. All fingers together in a triangle shape (finger tips

touching, straight, palms apart, thumbs make bottom of triangle). Bring triangle

over crown of head. Arms bent. Triangle about 8-12 inches over head in line with

crown. Drist to crown of head. Start BOF. 5m in class.

Full time - Probably 5m.

Wah Hey Guru 16x on One Breath (exhale).

Sit in balanced EP. Inhale and repeat WHG 16x per breath. Starting fast a bit,

but can slow down. Drist unknown or unspecified. Focus mentally on the crown

chakra and project.

Class time 7m - Full time 31m. (yes, 31).

Note from class: " When you chant, listen openly to the mantra, and let the chant

and yourself chanting merge so that you are no longer chanting the mantra, but

the mantra is chanting you. "

Inhale, exhale (3x), relax and meditate. Sit still.

Lie on back and relax for 5-11m with Gong.

Additional note:

If you are doing this as a private practice, visualize 1000 people around you

doing the same Kriya with you throughout the entire exercise.

I hope that people will add to this as appropriate and make corrections if

needed. Again, ideally, finding this Kriya written somewhere would be great. But

most of all... ENJOY!!!

And of course, many thanks to Sunder Singh Khalsa for a great class and sharing

his " teach-niques " with us.

Wah Hey Guru,

Fateh Singh
