Guest guest
Sat Nam! I live in Santa Fe, NM and I am looking to exchange homes with someone in Paris, France. My mother's home in Frisco, Colorado would also be on option. She's surrounded by the great ski resorts of Colorado. We would have four people - my parents, my husband and myself (ages 40s-60s). When: near the end of December 2009, beginning of January 2010 (we are flexible about when exactly on the front end but I need to be back by Jan. 9) Santa Fe, NM We live in an old adobe, with one bedroom, an office and one bathroom. Two to four people could stay here comfortably, even 6 people if two were willing to sleep in the office on an air mattress. We are 30 minutes from the Gurdwara in Espanola and 10 minutes from the Kundalini yoga center in Santa Fe (www.yogasantafe.com). Santa Fe is a lovely and unique place to be in the winter holiday season because of the Western, Hispanic and Native American traditions. For instance, the Native American pueblos have many Feast days and winter dances that are open to the public. On Christmas Eve, the farolitos are lit (candles in paper bags that line the streets and buildings) and people walk through the streets together, singing carols and drinking cider. There is much art and music to experience at local museums and galleries. Local skiing at Santa Fe Ski is only 30 minutes away. Taos Ski Area is 1.5 hours away and offers world-class skiing and snowboarding. For soaking in mineral springs, there's Ojo Caliente about 45 minutes away, or locally there's the Japanese spa 10,000 Waves. Frisco, CO A one bedroom condo located on a wetlands. Sleeps 2-4 people. Renovated in eco-sensitive manner. Best thing about this home is the proximity to world class Colorado skiing at places such as Vail, Copper, Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapaho Basin. Thanks for considering this! Pamela/Gurujot Kaur
