Guest guest
Sat Naam Ji's~ Since comming home from summer solstice I have been enjoying reading a new Kundalini Yoga book called: " Waves of Healing~Listening to the Voice of Your Soul " by Dr Siri Atma Singh Khalsa I LOVE his style of writting and really enjoy learning from his experiences. Here are a couple of paragraphs from the book just to give you a feel... ~ the voice of the soul is very clear. It speaks only of right & wrong & does not defend itself. An easy way to distinguish the voice of the soul from other thoughts is to first remove all analitic thoughts. You'll be left with neurosis, phobia, delusion & the voice of the soul. How do you tell the voice of the soul from neurosis, phobia & delusion? The soul will always tell you what is right & wrong; the rest is fear based... ~when we follow the voice of the soul we live a life of purity. We may still encounter pain and suffering but we can use the mind to calculate the best way to manifest the voice of the soul. We can assess the control our ego has over us by observing what our mind is calculating. If we are using our mind to figure out how to obey our conscience, we are following the voice of the soul. If our mind is constantly preoccupied with achieving personal desires we are following the voice of our ego... PS I was told that in this book there are 10 sets for the 10 bodies that have never been published. Please note: I have no monetary gain by sharing this info...I just like to share something when its really good (: If you are interested in purchasing his book you can contact them thru their website: Yogicreality.com " doubt has fear, intuition never has fear " Yogi Bhajan with many blessing ~ Jiwan Shakti Kaur Tampa,FL
Guest guest
I purchased this book at Summer Solstice and have already read it in its entirety -- even the chapters for beginners that cover material I already know! Dr. Siri Atma really does explain things very clearly and beautifully. The yoga sets are great; I've been using the book as a teaching tool in my class, both reading aloud from it and doing the actual yoga sets. The book is well worth the money! -Nimrita Kaur Kundalini-Yoga , wolfsister harmony <wolfsister_harmony wrote: > > > Sat Naam Ji's~ > Since comming home from summer solstice I have been enjoying reading a new Kundalini Yoga book called: > " Waves of Healing~Listening to the Voice of Your Soul " > by Dr Siri Atma Singh Khalsa > > I LOVE his style of writting and really enjoy learning from his experiences. > Here are a couple of paragraphs from the book just to give you a feel... > > ~ the voice of the soul is very clear.
