Guest guest
Sat Nam Jernail Singh, Shabd Kriya can help with sleep, this is a quote from Waves of Healing by Dr. Siri Atma, " If practiced regularly, your sleep will be deep and relaxed and your nerves will be regenerated. " I hope this helps, Akal Sahai Singh > > Satnaam ji to All, > > I am following this Kundalini Yoga for some time now. Guest guest
Dear Jernail, some of Yogi Bhajan's tips for a good sleep are: wash feet in cold water, rub them with a coarse towel, and massage them before going to sleep; lie on right side, close right nostril with finger or arm or pillow and breathe through left nostril, slowly and deeply. Breathing through our left nostril activates the moon energy, which is calming, relaxing and cooling; don't go to bed on a full stomach; make sure you have your last meal two and a half hours before bedtime; do 26 frogs before getting into bed; comb your hair before getting into bed; make sure your bed is facing East-West; onions and onion juice help combat insomnia. Hope this helps! Uttamjeet in Rome, Italy
Guest guest
KY kriyas practiced regularly do help. Your body works on secreting melatonin to help one relaxx and sleep. Your inner clock is just used to the normal routine. I'd like to recommend kriyas, but they do take a while more in having an effect. doing yoga, you wont have a quick fix. For relaxation you could try the 1-minute breath, or the alternative nostril breathing(you can find it in the internet for directions). A pointer, using the left nostril breathing does work well in helping one feel sleepy. Lets just hope recession ends soon, i've heard they say it's the rock-bottom for the housing market, so lets hope this restores consumer confidence and improves the market.
