Guest guest
Sopurkh Kaur, You have a fundamental right by law to enjoy your domicile. Start right now keeping a diary of every time and date and duruation you have smelled MJ. Keep notes and names on the conversations with your management company. Additionally write down any events related to the offense you remember clearly from the past. Write a letter to the management company to the highest offical you can find (ask). Outline the problem in a dispassionate way. Don't whine, threaten,or show emotion. Just state the problem and ask politely what management plans to do about it. Send it certified mail. Who sends certified mail? YOU DO! This signals to them you are deadly SERIOUS! CC the letter to your attorney. The economy is rough on attorneys also - you can pick one up that will work on contigency or just charge a fee for the letter writing. Keep copies for your records. If your head can stand it, wait for their response (or non-response). I bet when management knows you are willing to take them to court over this - they will act fast. NEVER state that you are willing to go to court.....they will 'get' it by how you handle the situation. And don't tell your neighbors anything! This may not be the spiritual answer you are looking for, but it hurts the spirit to be played by others and not stand up for yourself and your rights. In the meantime - as for your headaches - may you take Advil? Keep well hydrated with water. I am not a Sikh, but I have the utmost admiration and respect for Sikhs. And the reason is: They are the soldier-saints. You have the courage, knowledge and lineage for victory! Healing energies to YOU! Guest guest
This may very well be the action that suits your situation, but perhaps consider that your neighbor smokes marijuana for medical purposes, and has the legal right to do so if you live in California. Yes, you have a right to live in a healthy environment, but have you tried speaking to your neighbor and coming to an agreement before getting authorities involved? There are lots of way to act yogic-ly in this situation; I am simply suggesting another approach.
