Guest guest
I recommend that if somebody does recommend a kriya for thyroid function that you make sure to tell your student that she she must consult with her doctor before trying to substitute yoga for medical treatment. As a kundalini yoga instructor, it is important to avoid doing anything that might be interpreted as practicing medicine without a license. Guest guest
Sat Nam, In the teacher training manual of kriyas: Wahe Guru Kriya Kriya for Heart and Electromagnetic center has shoulder stand in it. any warm up or exercise with shoulder stand, neck turns (ten bodies), plow pose, with BOF or LDB, and chanting, 5th body, 5th chakra, should aid. -FS
Guest guest
Agreed with RamDas... The word you use that inspires caution is using yoga " instead " of medical treatment. Yoga is about healing within, healing of consciousness, healing of being, healing of the soul... Yoga may create the self-efficacy for one to heal oneself, but unfortunately such a vibratory healing isn't a substitute for medical healing. Of course, as a complimentary healing system, it's irreplaceable. BTW, also found this Kriya for the Thyroid: Kriya for Lungs, Magnetic Field and Deep Meditation from the Sadhana Guidelines Manual. Sat Nam and Good Luck, FS
