Kriya or mediation for skin?

Greetings,

Does anybody know of a kriya or meditation to help the skin? This past year I

have been plagued by mysterious skin eruptions, and the MD's haven't been able

to diagnose. Since the skin is the largest excretory organ - would working on

increasing the liver's capacity work?

It may be possible the immune system is overreacting to whatever stimulus. Could

there be a kriya to balance the immune system?

Thanks in advance for your kind comments.

Love and peace to you all.

J.

In natural healing the skin is related to the apana systems, the kidneys, liver

and intestines (colon).

Do the Kriya for elimination.

When my skin erupts I take zinc and something like a dandelion-milk thistle

tincture.

Satnam.

Sat Nam,

Try Bundle Rolls (Bundle Kriya). Stimulates the entire skin surface.

Also, good time now for a melon fast. 3 Days - 3 cantalope per day, one per

meal, with pepper. If you can find a local farmers market, get the ambrosial

cantalope (one with the ridges). They are so juicy like honeydews. Yum!

Also, breath of Fire is great for the skin, purifying the blood, and detoxing.

I'd guess 7 mins BOF with 3-5 mins bundle rolls and a cantalope sounds like the

skin's best friend.

Breath of fire really helps the skin. So do the cold showers. Skin brushing is

excellent. It's important to wash the brush in soapy water after each use. Using

sea salt as a scrub on your face and body helps to exfoliate and get rid of dead

skin cells.

Emotions really affect the skin. As you communicate more and avoid toxic

situations, you'll probably experience less emotional storms. Kundalini Yoga

really helped me to read people and situations and take action before there were

problems. Nipping things in the bud, so to speak.

Sat Nam, I struggled with acne

for a handful of years. Once the Siri Singh Sahib, Yogi Bhajan noticed

this and told me to do 31 minutes of breath of fire. This definitely

helped but 40 days wasn't enough, I had to do it for 6 months until I noticed

physical results. I had to try a lot of different things and combinations

until it finally cleared so it is hard to pinpoint on one solution. Going

off gluten completely for 2 years was a great help. Lastly I worked

with Karta Purkh Singh a great herbalist that put me on large quantity

doses of herbs that helped remove excess heat in my body and seal the changes

in my skin. Here is his contact if you are interested http://www.kpkhalsa.com/about.htm.

Wishing you all the best.

Oh yea, you just reminded me about cold baths with dermal abrasion! Very nice!

I have this skin abrasion device from Germany which is like a long scrub towel

with handles that you rub all over the body - gets you all pink and tender. Then

the cold shower is all warm and wahe guru!

Unfortunately, I looked, but can't find the manufacturer... sigh. Anyways, I did

find hundreds of other loofah/scrub/bath brush products online, so you're

covered.

IMHO, I'd go for something fairly rough. :)

Also, I like this cream called Dermae Scar Gel - works best on calluses and skin

hardenings, and I've heard its pretty good for a bunch of skin stuff - based on

onion extract which tenderizes the skin (but with no lovely onion smell

unfortunately... heh).

Thanks so much to everybody who posted me with advice on clearing up the skin.

It's heartwarming to know that the good people here will respond quickly to a

concern. I'm overcome with gratitude as I work on the problem.

Blessings to all,

Jackie

I used to have cystic acne, and I'll tell you what really cleared it up. Within

a matter of days I noticed a huge difference. Urine therapy - you drink the

morning urine. It's actually an ancient yoga practice, also in Taoism and many

other traditional healing systems. Drink plenty of water before bed, and if

you're eating a healthy diet, it won't be disgusting. Discard the first part

and last part of the flow, and drink the rest. You can also wash the face with

it - when eating a pure diet, you won't have a bad smell. Friends noticed such

a difference in my skin that they tried it and got results too. Yogi Bhajan

taught about this, but I guess didn't make such a big deal of it because he knew

people would freak out. But it works!

Ardas Singh

p.s. if you're on any medications, I don't recommend internal use.
