sat nam dear sangat, some friends of mine are travelling to India in

November-December and asked me about Ashrams where they could do Kundalini Yoga,

they are not looking for a course or workshop but would like sadhana or classes

as part of their experience. They will be attending a retreat in rishikesh and

have some extra time to spend there or a little further north. Any personal

reccomendations?

Sat Nam Guru Sahai,

Last time I was there (about 3 years) there was no where that taught Kundalini

yoga. But they could take classes in many other styles - there are LOTS of

places to do yoga there. They can probably figure it out when they get there

even.

Sat Nam,

There is one person teaching Kundalini Yoga in India Devmukh Kaur.

And, there is the possibility that Amandeep Singh M.Sc (Aust), MA (UK), B.Sc

Hons (UK) will be in India teaching at that time.

You will find more info on these 2 people on this page:

+Argentina+-+Russia

Certaintly, you can check into it. I can't remember the dates, but I believe

that Amandeep Singh is going to be teaching in India.

Blessings,

Sat Avtar Kaur

Ji, send your friends to Parmath Niketan,

affectionately referred to as Muniji's Ashram by folks in our Dharma.

They will not be disappointed!

You might also look into Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati. He teaches a Hindu

version of KY, which is superb.

His ashram is in (unfortunately) Bihar.
