Guest guest
Greetings! I'm so glad to have found this group. I have been teaching KY for about 11 years in Southern California and look forward to contributing to this online community. One question I have: there is a phrase I've run across in "Beads of Truth" but I've never seen it anywhere else:Baba boolee bela jee bana, man kartar tin babayta nikaraysukee rasay surnar.â€Can anyone tell me about this? how to pronounce this correctly and/or what shabad this comes from?Secondly--There is a set I ran across years ago (from one of the 'mimeographed' books) called Alligator Kriya ( I think). I need to find this to teach to one of my students-- can anyone tell me how to find it? It features a long baby pose where you feel like there is a long very heavy tail attached to your tailbone and you have to wave it back and forth.I much appreciate any help,All Love,Premdev Kaur
Guest guest
Sat Nam, I googled the phrase, Baba boolee bela jee bana, and this page came up, http://db.kriteachings.org/clients/ikyta/articles.nsf/fed9a32db02c04088725667100\ 4e06c3/8d2a86790f9482d6872571530052f333?OpenDocument It is an article Understanding Sexual Behavior by Yogi Bhajan and at the very end is the phrase: Baba boolee bela jee bana, man kartar tin babayta nikaray sukee rasay surnar. This means, " I am sorry. It is the Will of God. You are right. Does this mean that you are a second-rate citizen or a slave? It does not. " I am sorry " opens up the communication. " It is the Will of God " clears the blame. " You are right " gives the apparatus the energy to live and carry on, because tomorrow there is going to be another mistake and clash. When woman uses this technology, she is not a second-rate citizen, but actually she is a compassionate holder of the fort. You must understand that men are like mirrors; they are unable to repair themselves. Once they get an emotional crack in their minds, they live with it. Two things men do not have as a basic quality that women have: the ability to repair himself, and the ability to see his egocentric approach. Men have a difficult time sitting down and rationalizing themselves. Somebody has to do it for them. A woman has to understand that if she doesn't want to pull him out of the difficulty nobody else will. Through the thick and thin of the time a woman not only has to meditate, but she has to concentrate and inspire the male to keep the relationship going. Man needs not only absolute faith, but also absolute assurance that he is loved, he's taken care of, he can be trusted, and he's good. You do not know these men; that is your basic problem. Guest guest
Sat Nam! In Man to Man there is the Kriya " Exercises for Potency and Potentiality " with 2nd exercise called " Dragon Tail: Come into Baby Pose, with the arms straigth along the sides of the body with the palms up. Kep the brow relaxed on the ground as you move the hips left an right. Imagine you are swinging a 1000-pound dragon's tail. " A Dragon is similar to an Alligator, isn't it (page 42f. in Man to Man. I don't think that's accurate--men, if anything, overrationalize--excuse me guys for generalizing here, but I think we tend to have a natural ability to let our rational mind take over what the heart says because it's " logical " and " makes sense " , and is therefore the right way, but that's not always the case. Guest guest
I had the same thought as you did until I heard Yogi Bhajan restate this...I believe it was in the men's manuals...here is my understanding for the discussion. He was referring to how men " use " their rational mind in support of their " ego " self. His statement has the word " egocentric approach " . Our egos are in control of our rational self, instead of our mind " rationing in purity " of the " facts " ...seeing ourselves as we are. One of the pieces that is missing for me is why women can do it? Is it a left brain-right brain thing or arc line or ???? Do they use this ability for themselves? Do they abuse this ability and find faults in others?
