Guest guest
> May the long time sunshine upon you…This is our prayer. You know where I picked up this song? There was commune, the Hog Farm, which represented the Woodstock nation special characteristics, and I was a member of that commune. Sat Nam Satganesha, this is the first time i heard about YB living at Hog Farm. Never i have seen this noted in any other document about Hog Farm. But he seeems to have been a regular visitor for some time, you can find a nice picture from Lisa Law if you scroll down this site: http://americanhistory.si.edu/LisaLaw/6.htm See YB teaching Yoga to the hippies. Hog Farm was a magnet in those days, it seems that continuously many people came, connected and went again. The song itself was kind of famous in hippie circles, its from the english folk-band Incredible String Band. They told me personally that they definetely did not know YB. But Hog Farm people were very much involved in the Woodstock Festival where the String Band played. They ended all their gigs with this a song. By now, i have heard so many different stories about the origin of the song in the Kundalini Yoga Sangat. It?s a nice example af how poetry infiltrates memory ....
