re: kundalini and back injuries

I have not heard of back injuries disrupting flow of Kundalini but I am much

more inclined to think of the back injury as being a symptom of an imbalance of

a chakra that may be disrupting Kundalini flow. In my life, I had a back injury

where I slipped and bounced down about 5 or 6 steps on my tailbone, which hurt

extremely bad, took years to heal, and rattled the heck out of my spine.

Looking back, I can see that I manifested that injury because that was one of my

least grounded times in my life. I would not have admitted or considered that

even when I first heard of that concept two years after the injury. But now,

through my experiences in Kundalini Yoga and as a massage therapist and a

recipient of bodywork, I can say that I really believe a back injury may be your

higher Self trying to tell you something that you wouldn't listen to when the

message was being sent in a less painful way. And I believe Kundalini Yoga

should be able to help you get the blocked energy flowing again. Of course, be

gentle with yourself, see professionals about your back, etc. But really do

some soul searching about what you might have to gain or learn from the

experience. And it's not blame either. Every time we are contracted and out of

touch with our higher Self, we have another opportunity to unfold and open like

a flower.
