Accommodations in Rome, Italia?

Ditto on the Beehive! They have a wonderful, inexpensive whole foods

restaurant for guests which I believe serves vegetarian food. The

Americans who run it are lovely and either have a yoga class or an

area where you can do yoga. You can walk to the Termini Train and bus

Station from there putting the eternal city at your feet! I met the

coolest people when I stayed there, every age imaginable. They have

private rooms. I stayed in the dorm and it was quiet, comfortable

and about 25 euros a night. This was two years ago. Rome is bustling,

but all around it you can find beautiful Italian country side. Assisi

is not terribly far by train and it is a holy place. There is an

east west center in Assisi that is a great haven for silent meditation

and a hatha ashram right outside the city.

I have a house near Rome and also I can do a yoga holiday with morning sadhana

food meditation and accomodation for one week minimum.
