Two workshops In the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts

January 1 to 3- Friday night to Sunday noon

Begin your New Year with creativity, relaxation, and healing. Each session of

this retreat with Hari Kirin Kaur Khalsa will include Kundalini Yoga, meditation

and art making. You be guided in making a life-size painting of your nadis,

chakras, and pranas as you experience and document the circulation of subtle

energies in your practice. Return home with your painting and a plan for a

simple yoga routine and art practice for the coming year.

This retreat is for everyone with an interest in the healing power of art and

yoga. Seasoned artists, yogis, and healers will work alongside beginners to

everyone's benefit. Note Tuition includes eco-art supplies, including

water-based paint, a brush, and really big paper.

January 3 to 8 Sunday night to Friday noon

Kundalini Yoga and Expressive Arts for the Fifth Chakra and Thyroid

The fifth chakra is the energetic center of self-expression, language, teaching,

communication, and embodying dharma. Fifth chakra difficulties include

insecurity, fear of other people's opinions and judgments, and throat, neck, and

thyroid problems.

In this workshop, you will learn Kundalini Yoga, meditation, and creative work

to stimulate, balance, and open the fifth chakra. Specific postures, breathing

exercises, sounds, and deep relaxation can positively affect the thyroid and

other glands, creating a sense of well-being and connection. Through the use of

a variety of creative arts, these changes can be experienced and deepened.

You will return home with artwork and a yoga plan for ongoing practice.

Note This course is not intended to replace medical treatment but to augment it.

This program is eligible for 32 CE Credits for yoga instructors (YA)
