Sat Nam,I used to be fairly disciplined about my Kundalini yoga and meditation but that sure went out the window being mom to a 10 month old:) Right now I am very exhausted and sleep deprived and need to recharge my batteries. Can anyone recommend a short (15-20 minutes or less) set that I can do to jumpstart my day. Also I would appreciate your ideas for a powerful silent meditation to recharge my aura. I've been very inconsistently doing the Kirtan kriya but I think I need something else.....Thanks for your recommendations! Very appreciatedIn Gratitude,CM

Surya Kriya, Basic Spinal Flex and the Warm-Up Set from Relax and Renew are all good short sets which I have used myself as a mom of two little ones, and taught in my mom and baby class.Sometimes if I don't have time for anything else, I just do stretch pose and Ego Eradicator to clear the head and get the blood pumping!

Good luck and sat nam,Shoshana

hey cm,

i bet your little boy has gotten so big! would love to see a pic when you have

a chance :)

i love the wake up series & it only takes about 7 mins. i also am really

enjoying the primal power meditation (both of these are in the transitions to a

heart centered world book) and there isn't a time specified on this meditation

so you can decide how long/short you want it to be, time permitting.

primal power mediation

-sit in easy pose, hands in gyan mudra, spine erect, eyes fixed at tip of the

nose

-inhale and contract the rectum & sex organs. pull in the navel point. hold

briefly. then exhale and release the locks

-breathe in such a way that the breath creates the mental sound SAT with the

inhale, and NAM with the exhale

-imagine pranic energy flowing in and to the navel point. no time specified

comments-if concentration is good, the entire back and the spine will heat up.

it is written that one who perfects this kriya can master death and old age. he

can learn to transfer prana to another being for healing and even extend that

person's life. he will not be affected by his past negativity and no negative

thought will penetrate his projection. it is a simple meditation, but it deals

with the PRIMAL POWER OF CREATION

keep in touch,
