Guest guest
Sat Naam ~ I would LOVE to know more information on the Mantra "Wah Yantee" What I have is: The practice of this Mantra is the culmination of thousands of years of prayer. This mantra is from the teachings of Patanjali. does anyone know of where I can read more about this being from the teachings of Patanjali? What else? I know it's part of our Sadhana chants, are there any meditations that we can use with this mantra? with Infinite blessings Jiwan Shakti Kaur
Guest guest
Sat Nam. To my my knowledge, there is no contextual or historical support for the " Wah Yantee " mantra whatsoever, aside from what Yogiji has been good enough to share with us. Patanjali himself is an almost mythic character. Scholars disagree about when exactly he lived and whether in fact he also wrote an important treatise on grammar or whether that was another person by the same name. This wiki article does flesh out what the authors believe to be the truth about the great rishi. You may find it of interest. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patanjali Blessings abounding...
