Guest guest
Sat Nam,I used to be fairly disciplined about my Kundalini yoga and meditation but that sure went out the window being mom to a 10 month old:) Right now I am very exhausted and sleep deprived and need to recharge my batteries. Can anyone recommend a short (15-20 minutes or less) set that I can do to jumpstart my day. Also I would appreciate your ideas for a powerful silent meditation to recharge my aura. I've been very inconsistently doing the Kirtan kriya but I think I need something else.....Thanks for your recommendations! Very appreciatedIn Gratitude,CM
Guest guest
Yes anything with lots of breath of fire. I would recommend doing Breath of Fire as you walk around.Twists for the adrenals Make sure you are getting enough vitamin and mineral support including taking Adrenal support and NAC. Celery and ginger for your nerves and calcium at nite. Get my flip charts they have little 1-3 minute things you can do through out the day. go to www.Gurutej.com Blessings Gurutej Kundalini-Yoga , " karma_mccain " <karmamccain wrote: > > hey cm, > > i bet your little boy has gotten so big! would love to see a pic when you have a chance > > i love the wake up series & it only takes about 7 mins. i also am really enjoying the primal power meditation (both of these are in the transitions to a heart centered world book) and there isn't a time specified on this meditation so you can decide how long/short you want it to be, time permitting. > primal power mediation > -sit in easy pose, hands in gyan mudra, spine erect, eyes fixed at tip of the nose > -inhale and contract the rectum & sex organs. pull in the navel point. hold briefly. then exhale and release the locks > -breathe in such a way that the breath creates the mental sound SAT with the inhale, and NAM with the exhale > -imagine pranic energy flowing in and to the navel point. no time specified > comments-if concentration is good, the entire back and the spine will heat up. it is written that one who perfects this kriya can master death and old age. he can learn to transfer prana to another being for healing and even extend that person's life. he will not be affected by his past negativity and no negative thought will penetrate his projection. it is a simple meditation, but it deals with the PRIMAL POWER OF CREATION > > keep in touch, > karma > > Kundalini-Yoga , CM HARDT <cm@> wrote: > > > > Sat Nam, > > > > I used to be fairly disciplined about my Kundalini yoga and > > meditation but that sure went out the window being mom to a 10 month > > old:) > > > > Right now I am very exhausted and sleep deprived and need to > > recharge my batteries. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Nothing better than the Morning Wake Up Series. Stretch pose. Tuck Pose. Ego Eradicator (aura). And Sat Kriya. 1-2 minutes each. Then 2-5 mins deep relax. There's also the set for balancing the Aura from TT book which is short and sweet. Alternating between these two may be nice. As for a meditation, I'm thinking like GuruTej you need something with controlled or nostril breathing... Oh yea, there's the immune system booster: sun energy meditation from the TT book which could be nice. Just off the top of the head.. Email me if you want to explore more, or details on these sets. Guest guest
Sat Nam, What the heck is the TT book? Talking in hieroglyphics is not, NOT helpful! Thank you, Sat Avtar Kaur http://www.kundaliniyogainfocntr.com/
Guest guest
It's the Teacher Trainer's Manual.I agree, it is helpful to spell things out, like BOF=Breath of Fire. There's one that shows up sometimes, I think ETF, but maybe it is ATM and my business brain can only think of the American banking terms associated with those :)As I like to tell people, I lived in DC long enough that if you stick three letters together, I can make up a very silly agency.Sumpuran Kaur--- On Fri, 10/9/09, MyraL <myralorey wrote:MyraL <myralorey Re: Can u recommend a quick set for exhausted mom?Kundalini-Yoga Date: Friday, October 9, 2009, 9:34 AM Sat Nam, What the heck is the TT book?
