About the workshop: The human voice is nature's finest instrument. Within this workshop, Professor Paramjeet Singh shares practical techniques to open the voice to greater depth, resonance, tonal purity, and range. He leads students skilfully through each of the three octaves, utilizing primary sounds that not only improve the quality of the voice, but also stimulate and harmonize the body, mind and spirit. In the practice of Kirtan or Naad Yoga, the `Ahaat-Naad' (sound) is utilized in its most sublime form through the devotional singing of the praises of God (Bani) in melody (Raga) and rhythm (Taal), guiding the awareness inward and attuning oneself to the `Anahat-Naad' or Divine Sound Current. This workshop is open to all, and no prior experience is necessary. Testimonials: " Professor Paramjeet Singh teaches his art with love and care, and an open mind to whatever your level may be. His interest is to open your voice and bring you into the spirit and joy of kirtan. This is a wonderful experience!
