Guest guest
Over the years I have found that although everyone's Soul is so very special and unique to them, they all seem to have the same voice and the same Consciousness. Can it be that we are One Soul? In my healing work, I help folks get into intimate contact with their Soul, and then I start asking questions of their sweet Soul. And although I make a very determined point to not lead the person in the answers that their Souls give, can you believe what everyone's Soul says? FIRST: Relax! When I ask their Soul what is most important for their person to do in their life, their Souls' amazingly consistent answer from person to person is to RELAX! It is not to do more prayers, to be good, to follow commandments, etc. It is to Relax! Guest guest
Hello,I agree with this post and think relaxing is the best answer. But gee it can be so hard. You'd figure relaxing would be easy but it's not!PaulaOn 10/16/09, sirigian <sirigian wrote: Over the years I have found that although everyone's Soul is so very special and unique to them, they all seem to have the same voice and the same Consciousness. Guest guest
Siri-Gian Kaur... I re-read your post and have been thinking about it since you placed it here. It is so simple, yet the most profound thing I have heard here. We throw that word around " relax " in yoga culture, but to say it is what your Soul whispers to you is a lovely thing to hear. For too many years I used Kundalini Yoga like a battering ram to smash my way through the gates of heaven. I was a fanatic yogi. Kirantana was not my name when I was in 3HO. If I used my old name in here, older people in here would remember me as one of the " all time extreme yogi's. I left 3HO over 25 years ago. When I first left a friend gave me the drug " MDMA " ...I remember getting prepared to take it... surrounded myself in a circle of my favorite spiritual books...CD's to listen to...musical instruments to play...etc. I thought it was going to be like LSD which I hadn't taken since before 3HO. But I ended up doing NOTHING, staring at a blank wall for 5 hours...absolutely happy, peaceful and fulfilled. It changed my life. Once having that experience I no longer needed a drug to get there, once I saw that one could do that. It changed the way i did yoga...it changed the way i did my life. But we live in a society that runs on the frequency of " greed " ...it is so easy to slip into the speed in which it runs...just from being here on the earth. I'm trying to put 7 boys through college and make sure they turn out as good men...and I have used yoga and meditation quite well to keep myself going. But sometimes I'm so up against the wall the only way I can break the Stress-cycle is to fast. Usually takes me 7 days of the " master cleanse " to get back to 'neutral' on all levels, and when I do, that simple but profound message is there " relax " ... To hear that it is my " Soul " whispering to me is lovely. Thank You.....Kirantana I think I'll contact you on your website...just to say hello.... Guest guest
Dear Fateh Singh, You must already be relaxing because the next thing that Soul says to do is to laugh, dance, sing and be happy! What fun! I am so happy that you are enjoying your precious music! And by the way, the third thing that Souls say to do is to share, give, and serve. A recipe for a happy life here on Earth! The whole article is at http://www.SoulAnswer.com/culture_of_the_Soul.html Lots of Love,Siri-Gian www.SoulAnswer.com "Laugh because that is your purpose in life. Love because that is what you came here for. Shine because that is important. Share because it is demanded of you." Yogi Bhajan.
Guest guest
Finding and expanding that Zone where you can dialogue with your Soul is worth all the effort (since it's especially about finding that Zone where you use no effort). What really helps (me personally) get into touch with my Soul and relaxing into It is getting a 31 minute meditation under the belt (90 days ideally). It could also just be having a moment each day to find your touchstone for a peaceful devotional moment. Or just taking a deep conscious breath. Another way to is to take a 3 minute break with yourself each day. Don't " meditate " . Don't try to DO anything. Just lie down on your bed. Stare at the ceiling and say: " Hi Me, How are you, Just checking in... " And see where the silence takes you. I know these are really simple, basic concepts... but for some this may spark, well... something... especially if that's what Siri Gian Kaur keep noting in others... I think basics are always good. In fact, I've recently been using the " Learning to Meditate " meditation in the Teacher Trainers book to tune in to It with great results. If you don't have the book, all you do is sit in easy pose, apply neck lock and focus on the third eye. And take your pulse on your left wrist with the four fingers from your right hand, and mentally vibrate Sat Nam with each beat. 11m to 31m. It says that it will: " Bring sweetness and One-pointedness to the most outrageous and scattered mind " . ( " One " -pointedness to me means hearing your Soul...) So, what could be better than That?
