Guest guest
Greetings all, I've worked with the meditation for brosa for a while and probably should work on it some more. It's for helping to gain trust in the higher sense, which leads you to develop trust in life. Are there are other sets that help to develop trust and surrender? Has anyone worked with this extensively and if so how did you find it? I know for me, being that I am highly analytical, it is hard for me to surrender and let go and trust. it's just too scary and I cling to logic. Thanks Paula
Guest guest
Hi Paula, I got this mediation for 'Surrender' from a book by by Dr. Subagh Singh Khalsa which is a free download from Lulu, still available you do have to log in: http://www.lulu.com/content/multimedia/healing_ourselves_healing_the_world_a_man\ \ ual_of_mystic_meditation_practice_for_absolutely_everyone/355761 I have done this meditation for 40 days and will do it again, longer. I like the way it feels inside my head. What I noticed, afterwards, was- is that I am more relaxed about myself, and what I do instead of demanding that I be 'perfect' or something. In other words, something within me changed. A Meditation for Surrender Surrender is a function of the 7th chakra, located at the crown of the head. here, above all thought and emotion, there can be a direct communion with the Universal. Yogi Bhajan gave this " Meditation of Ecstasy' to help us drop the self-conscious mind and immerse ourselves in the Infinite, clearing away the urge to become. Sit in meditation posture with hands in gyan mudra and eyes closed. Inhale deeply and chant the mantra Wa-hay Guru, Wa-hay Guru, Wa-hay Wa-hay, Wa-hay Guru on one breath. Chant in a monotone for 11 mintues, then inhale deeply and hold the breath while concentrating the energy at the top of your head. After 30 seconds exhale and relax. Wa-hay Guru expresses ecstasy and wonder at the perfection of this. Listen to the sounds you are making and let them connect you with a divine sound within. Practicing this for 40 consecutive days will be paricularly powerful. Hoping this is helpful, Sat Avtar Kaur http://www.kundaliniyogainfocntr.com/
