Guest guest
Hello Guru Beant...this is a good question. I never give money to any " orgs " that can't explain to me exactly where the money goes, and how much is cut for administration. But tithing I do belive in, and I know it is the cause of the money that keeps coming to me. I just keep it all moving. I see myself as a " Steward " of wealth...not an owner. As to where it goes. I follow my heart and intuition. I mostly help single parents get their kids through college. I say " Yes " do what is natural to you... keep the wealth moving and it will always come back greater............K Kundalini-Yoga , " Bridget GuruBeant Kamke " <infinipede wrote: > > I like the idea of tithing, but the more I hear on this about 3ho's various sub-companies having inner coups and stuff like that, the less faith I have that a tithe to Dasvandh would really be going where I want it to. Feel free to assure me otherwise if you like. > In the mean time, considering that everyone and everything are God, could giving money and food to veterans and homeless people by the side of the street count as tithing? This feels very natural to me. Guest guest
Sat Nam. As the Dasvandh Director, I wanted to respond to your concerns about tithing to Dasvandh. Although the specific technology of Dasvandh is to give to God without attachment to, or knowledge of where it is going, we completely understand that in this day and age it is important to be transparent with our donors. Dasvandh dollars go directly to supporting all of the projects of Sikh Dharma International. To learn more about the services that Sikh Dharma and Dasvandh provide, please visit our websites at www.dasvandh.org and www.sikhdharma.org. We are alays happy to answer any questions or concerns that our donors have and we appreciate the change to connect personally so please do not hesitate to call or e-mail us at dasvandh.org and 505-629-4718. - Guruprakash Khalsa Kundalini-Yoga , " Bridget GuruBeant Kamke " <infinipede wrote: > > I like the idea of tithing, but the more I hear on this about 3ho's various sub-companies having inner coups and stuff like that, the less faith I have that a tithe to Dasvandh would really be going where I want it to.
