Guest guest
I nearly died again, today. I swallowed wrong, or the water went down wrong, in either case, I could not breath, I could not breath This is an ongoing problem for me, I have worked on everything I can think of to change this. Every time I eat or drink anything, I know that my life can end. As near as I can remember, I was in NM in the early 1980s when this condition started. Last year Nov 19th, I was alone, again taking a pill, water went down my breathing 'pipe' - I ran for the landline, started to black out, crashed to the floor and called upon Guru Ram Das, instantly the obstruction was gone and I was breathing, still lying with my face pressed against the floor. Today, at 5am, 11-9, while swallowing a tiny little pill, it seemed as if in mid-swallow, my throat flexed and the water went the wrong way, I knew I was in trouble, I woke my landlord and was saved. I have worked on this for years, in every way, I can think of. I also am trying to get over a 4 month lung infection, antibiotics all the way, either that or die of pneumonia. I know that pneumonia relates to a broken heart and the lung condition to grief, so I am working on that, too. Is there a kriya, a mantra, anything that might change things for me or help in anyway. Thank you, Sat Avtar Kaur

Guest guest
Lots going on for you. I had a kinda/sorta similar thing (but not life or death) when I was learning open water/cold water swimming...until I found out about the " gasp " reflect (this is not official or medical name)...it is when you breath in when you not suppose to...like when you face is underwater Have you yet checked in with the standard MD specialist? I normally go to them all and fill in all the pieces if it gets to the point: MD, chiropractic, acupuncture, physical therapy, massage, Sat Nam Rasayan, nutrition, yoga, meditation, Guru Ram Das…and then back around again...did I forget anybody? Guest guest
Sat Nam Sat Ganesha, Interesting, that you brought up the involuntary " gasp " reflect. I did have that at one point, a carry over from meditating when I apparently quit breathing. I would be drinking and suddenly the body would 'gasp' and breath in the liquid. Not fun. I got over it, by doing 'cross-crawl'. This brought my body back into sequence. Last year I went to a Speech-Language person, who got paid $300 for putting 2 fingers on my throat as I swallowed diferent types of food, and then declaring, " Well, you didn't have a swallowing problem, then " . The esophagus was widen, in December, and I spent all day Jan 1st in the Hospital, getting 4 blood transfusions. Seems I was a little low and this certaintly cleared up the mysterious weakness, I was experiencing. So yes, I have been following that route too. All avenues are considered. Thank you for your suggestions, there are a few that you made that I haven't done, but am considering. Blessings, Sat Avtar

Guest guest
Thank you, Dr Hari Simran Singh Khalsa, I live in Bothell, WA. I will keep your offer in mind, if I continue to have problems. I am using the EFT tapping method, on everything that I have been given from people that have read my post. I got rid of asthma using EFT and it can be found at www.emofree.com for the free pdf file on how to use. I went to their website and read some of their articles which gave me some more ideas on how to work with this situation of mine. I am getting so much wonderful help from everyone, that I feel like I have a very good chance at changing something. At the very least, I am looking in directions that I never saw before. And, through your post and some others, I now know that there are place that I could go for help. Thank you.
