Guest guest
Sikh Dharma International (SDI) invites you to join us in our mission of sharing the teachings of Sikh Dharma as taught by the Siri Singh Sahib and to spread the light of the Shabad Guru. In this season of gratitude and giving, all of us at SDI are reflecting on the great work accomplished in 2009 and planning for expanded services in 2010. In order to continue with our mission, we need your support. This year, our year-end fundraising campaign is focused on gratitude and prayer. We are calling it the Gratitude Mala Project. Malas are a tool for meditation, prayer, and chanting God's praises. This practice purifies the mind and elevates the spirit, enabling one to serve fearlessly, which is the core of our values and business plan. Here is how you can participate! With a donation of $108 or more, we will attach your name to a bead on the mala. We are having an actual mala created for this purpose. * In the new year, SDI is taking this mala as an offering of gratitude to the Guru's altar at the Golden Temple. * A representative from SDI will take a dip in the sarovar of the Golden Temple for each person/family on the mala. * SDI will sponsor an akhand path in the land of the Gurus and send the hukam to all participants. You may donate in your name, anonymously, in your family's name, or a loved one's name. Contact us today and join in this campaign for continued service, prayer and gratitude. If you have a special prayer to add to this mala, please email donate DONATE Today!
