Sat Nam Todos,

Lest we forget our history. The Wampanoag people are commorating their 40th

National Day of Mourning at Plymouth Rock with the slogan: " Who are you calling

illegal, Pilgrim? "

I went to this event in 1978 with friends Periwinkle (Seminole) and Fire Horse

(Mohawk).

A beautiful day with a demonstration followed by food and a circle around a

fire. We were all given medicine bags as well. I think donations would be best

sent to ran.org the rainforest action network which is working to stop tar

sands removal--the worst climate mistake in history according to RAN, or to a

local native group of your choosing. Thanksgiving back!.
