Guest guest
Sat Nam yogis and yoginis!Conundrum:The more I focus on the fact that people don't respond to my phone calls and emails, the less often I get responses. {Good old Law of attraction!}. I'd like to reverse this pattern. Is this a fifth chakra lesson do you think?Blessings!Satya
Guest guest
Sat Nam Dharma Goddess, This is a very interesting question, and I'm sure will get some great responses... (Or maybe not if your 'luck' continues)... just kidding... that would suck if no one responded to this! I think this question of 'attraction' crosses many different aspects of life, particularly dealing with desire, and wanting, doubt and giving (giving with or without an agenda). And I may go off on some intellectual tangents here, but I do like exploring this topic, as it is central to so many aspects of following the path in the midst of living in the material world. So, generally speaking, having all our chakras balanced helps remove some of the depressing symptoms of not getting what we want or deserve. Answer: Sat Kriya. See... that was short. But, speaking of our 10 Bodies, the aspect of wanting could be related to our second body (Negative Mind), with a desire of 'Longing to belong'. Instead of longing for God and the flow of our inner divine nature, one may long to belong to something not as important, or for other reasons which may not enhance our path towards your fullness and connection with the divine. That would also reflect weakness in our second chakra, as as aspect of creation and creativity - specifically in such a forum where one is creating interest and hoping to build interaction and dialogue. Another body one may want to work on developing to help would be the 7th, auric body, which is related to confidence, security and creating an uplifting presence for all (who read your posts, for example). Getting more philoso-Fateh-ical, I feel like desire and wanting is a very simple method of creating imbalance in our lives. If you think about what we do when we want something... we lean towards it. This in effect puts you out of balance with yourself. Your core is compromised, and you no longer are acting from from the heart, because the heart must be supported by your core, which in turn is rooted in the earth. But if you instead sit back and settle deeper into your core, you can actually create a vacuum -- and things are drawn to you instead. It is in fact the basic first law of attraction that things that are harder to get are naturally more desirable. So, there's a kriya that I love that does just this... It was suggested to me by my teacher, and I go back to doing it all the time whenever I find myself wanting something too much, or just to help me settle into my core and bring the things I want to me. It's the Kriya to Balancing the Vayus, and you can find it on pg 10 of the Owner's Manual for the Human Body. Practiced with the proper intention, it can be very effective in a very short time. It specifically works on the Radiant body, which deals with our aspects of magnetism, respect and effectiveness, so that we don't have to go out and chase after things. They will instead come running straight to us! Sounds good to me... All the best luck on your next posts! Fateh Singh
Guest guest
Sat Nam. I was hoping that you could bring light on the subject of " Kundalini Syndrome " , in terms of how can one know that they have it and once they do what are the actions they need to take to re-balance the body, mind and spirit from a Kundalini Yoga perspective. Second point, is there a practise in Kundalini Yoga that can be done to keep strong positive energies during the day, so that one is not affected by the bad ones whatever their source may be. Your advice would be highly appreciated. Kind Regards, Laz Kundalini-Yoga , " Fateh Singh " <fatehsinghnyc wrote: > > Sat Nam Dharma Goddess, > > This is a very interesting question, and I'm sure will get some great responses...
