This lack of light can dramatically affect our mood and energy levels. It can trigger feelings of irritability, pessimism, fatigue and general mental fogginess. I especially like the background here, it is like the two light frames behind you represent the left (male) and right (female) sides of the brain. Just a little symbolism - actual and metaphorical - that enhances the message of your lecture.
