Guest guest
Sat Nam everyone, Does anyone have any suggestions for a good kriya to practise for winter solstice? And if you are teaching a very short kriya, maybe 3 or 4 exercises can you combine it with another short kriya? thank's for your advice! Guest guest
Sat Nam Siri Nam, I believe KRI recommended the Pelvic Balance kriya to be done on the days leading up to Winter Solstice, giving us the balance and foundation we need in this year of the Water Element. It is available on the KRI or 3H0 or IKYTA site for free (I forgot which one). It can be a short Kriya if you take the smallest times (1 minute per exercise), and yes, of course you can teach more than 1 Kriya if it is short... But IMO (in my opinion) it's always important to consider the instructions at the end - if it calls for a period of rest, deep relax, gong, or a meditation afterward - as that may affect which one you choose. Having said that, giving at least a 3-5 minute deep relax to integrate between Kriyas would be my gut level suggestion, but I've been in classes where experienced teachers - who I'm sure are adept at gauging the class energy levels - merge several small exercises and kriyas all together into one class with a single deep relax at the end of the exercises.
