Guest guest
Greetings all,I am wondering if anyone has thoughts on this topic of women and power. YB has had these camps just for women and I have read that he spent more time on the women as we are more complex emotionally. I have the book I am a Woman and so I have been really pondering what sort of power I have as a woman, that maybe a man just doesn't get. I mean, I have always believed that I have power because I am human but really what is the difference between the genders? I grew up with 3 brothers so if anything, I tended to believe 'masculine' so I am becoming more 'feminine' if you will.I have read as well in a mantra book that it said the nature of power is feminine and in Hindu mythology, many powerful gods are female (Gayatri, Lakshmi, Saraswati) I know there are certain perks to being a woman (men usually pay for dinner ) but I am wondering how can I maximize my own power, particularly power related to being femalethanksPaula
Guest guest
Sat Nam Paula, Back in 2003 Yogiji told me to rebuild myself so that I could write a book he gave me on SGGS. He gave me Sat Kriya to do saying, among other things, that it would make my female energy GREAT! Go for it--it really works! : " Do Sat Kriya for 31 minutes every morning (except during menstruation). You will change and become clear and beautiful. You will no longer feel anything lacking in you. 31 minutes of Sat Kriya every day will give you insight into the Unknown: You will always know how your health is. Female creative power will become GIANT. You will know things you do not even understand. You will never be in old age. You will always look young, healthy and powerful because at the navel point, you utter the sound Naam, and you get it right back 100 times more from God. Do it and you will get it. Give yourself an hour a day where you reconstruct, re-nurture, revalue and rejuvenate yourself and believe in your own spirit. Connect with the Infinite through Sat Kriya and Kundalini Yoga, and you will never feel alone- you will never be alone. My prayers and blessings are with you. May Guru Ram Das hold you in his energy field and give you the power of prayer and devotion. " I have been doing Sat Kriya for 31 minutes every day since 2003. It has evolved from being a way to get out of attachment to my ex-husband to being a way of calling on the Gurus to bless and heal people and the world. Everything Yogiji said would happen in his letter to me has come to be. Even though I live alone the Gurus are ever with me. We converse intuitively like dear friends. In a similar way I give intuitive healing Ardas sessions where I call on the ten Gurus to heal people's ten bodies and to reveal how they work through each person's life, all to help bring in the New Age. Their dynamics are profound, as I found when my daughter was miraculously healed from a head injury. People may request an intuitive healing session by emailing me at Reply to Sender. Guest guest
I am a Man, but Sat Kriya, a half hour daily, helps me too. Can't recommend it enough. A year ago I left lobbying to teaching history at an inner city high school here in Washington, D.C. It was nerve-wracking for a few months, but Sat Kriya has given me the courage - which is what Yogi Bhajan said it gives - to be neutral and engaged. I haven't stopped since. A half hour every morning, after a cold shower, is magic. I rest 15 minutes afterwards, then do a minute of stretch pose, turn over for yoga pushups (from the aura set), and end with a a few frogs and sit down to chill out for a couple minutes. This makes every day smooth and happy, not to mention it keeps me healthy, happy and holy. Thank you Yogi Bhajan for recommending to me Sat Kriya that first Summer Solstice, in 2001.
