Guest guest
Sat Nam All! Please forgive me if this has already been discussed, I briefly looked through archives and didn't see anything related. My mom is unluckiest person in the whole world. And at first I thought she is probably just pretending and being too pampered or something, but really, things just " happen " to her. She is the one whose plain is always delayed, whose food at the restaurant is burnt, who gets fired for no reason, she got two cars totaled in the last year (I guess she is lucky that she is alive), and etc etc etc. Most of the things are minor annoyances, but there also some major issues (health and work mostly). And I've been watching her, she tries pretty hard to fix all the problems, but I don't think she has the energy to deal with the world sometimes. So I have been reading YB's manual for teachers and he is talking about Aura and how we are all protected by it (or magnetic field if you wish). So if your magnetic field is weak and easily penetrable you will always be affected by the outside world and thing will always " happen to you " . So as I understand she needs to strengthen the aura and hopefully her life would be more or less normal. Is that the right thinking??? Of course, this is absolutely overly simplified, but it's a place to start, right. At least that's what my intuition is telling me. So do I recommend her some kriyas for strengthening the magnetic field etc.? I'm going to have a long talk with her about cuts and dents she is making in her aura by repeating certain behaviors. Probably some meditations. Any other suggestions? Sat Nam, Santjeet Kaur
Guest guest
Dear Santjeet Kaur, Getting grounded will also help. How does your mother's house look? What about her car? How about her refridgerator? When we clean and organize our surroundings, it helps us to be grounded, calm, careful, and relaxed. Often people who live in chaotic surroundings experience chronic troubles like those you're describing with your mother. One of the things I really had to work on with KY was making my routine, mundane tasks as important as my Kundalini Yoga and meditation. Stocking up on food, cooking delicious meals, dressing appropriately for the weather, self-care...People who were abused often neglect themselves. A peaceful loing, home environment really helps to nurture and heal the spirit. Gardening, caring for pets, getting enough sleep, drinking enough water...it all works together. The cold showers also help to seal the aura. Grounding out old negative emotions before meditating has made a big difference in my life, too.
