Guest guest
Sat Nam Dear Sangat, It will probably be extremely important, when everything goes to court, for the Plaintiff to be able to show that the vast majority of the people in our Dharma are in support of the way that Yogi Bhajan set up and left things before his passing. You all know only a little of what I mean! Yogi tea, Peace cereal are just the most visible and tragic changes. Whole communities are being shaken, people are losing ways of making a simple living, our young ones are coming back from India without a chance to start out with job in the community, etc. I am exercising my voice because I still have a one, as I'm not at the ground zero. Probably those at eye of this hurricane are too deeply saddened, or are simply in a state of shock to say much at this point (while the world grieved during JFK's funeral we never saw Jaqueline's tears, did we?). Please go to http://www.amritvela.org/SDI%20Legal%20Fund%20donation%20form%2010-13-09-2.pdf download, read and sign on with whatever amount you can afford. Even if you can only give $5, please be counted! Take your culture! I feel a need to say this much as I look at my own archive of recordings, am reminded of our collective past, some incredibly high times, and wonder what will be our legacy. Are we going to down in history like some kind of cult that imploded from greed and our basest instincts? From the 4 day Jaap Sahib course two summers ago. Registration was only $200! http://church-mouse.com/Jaap_Sahib/recordings/Acharee-Chand_Dr.-Harjot-Kaur.mp3 It's sad to think this kind of thing may not happen again.....
