Guest guest
Sat Nam I sit here with what seems like all the energy of my body compressed into an agonizing golf ball sized lump in the centre of my brain. My spine is locked up and the horrible thoughts and emotions I am experiencing are indescribable. But this is nothing new, it happens all the time, eventually it will free up with the accompanying peace or relief. For now I will have to cope with the dysfunction, unable to speak properly or think clearly, or have any routine, I dread the busy week ahead and feel exhausted and intense. My head is so hot. In normal people the kundalini flows downward, they work, aspire and build on their dreams and desires and are egoic and materialistic. Not everybody who has kundalini activation asks for it or invokes it. All mental illness is kundalini dysfunction, I experienced this from the age of 5 and at 18 I was again in a mental hospital. Then at the same age of 18 some exceptional clarity occurred, and I found I could read things from objects given to me. Overnight I became a clairvoyant and medium. I was giving 50 readings a week, giving services at spiritualist churches 2-3 times a week, as well as public performances in front of 200 or so people. I was giving readings on radio and interviews to newspapers. I am not worldly at all, yet I met a lady who wanted to manage me, she had been in PR, but was a Pharmacist by profession and interested in alternative healing. Then I became able to see auras and to diagnose health conditions from them as well as prescribe herbs clairvoyantly and give healing. We toured Australia and the south of England and London and worked prolifically. Then the dysfunction began to re-appear, until I became ill again, and have been ever since. You must acknowledge I was very young and everything just happened. My journey from 23 up until now age 40 has been in search of healing. I have tried so many different meditations, yoga, therapies, pills, healers and have sat in front of at least 10 enlightened Guru's, some supposedly kundalini clearers of excellence yet the dysfunction persists and if anything has got worse. Kundalini activation can wreck your life and your health severely, extremely and unimaginably, although not in all cases. I studied Vedic astrology for about 12 years with some of the best teachers ( and gave it up because of the politics and power issues you are now experiencing with the court case - how 'evil' gets a foot in the door is no shock to me, I become more cynical as I get older) and it is worthwhile to consider the symbolism and cosmic reality of Kundalini. The channels of kundalini are represented specifically by the lunar nodes Rahu and Ketu. This is the point where the Moon crosses the ecliptic, these are the points where the Sun, Moon and Earth align and form eclipses. So Rahu/Ketu are the eclipse points. Rahu/Ketu is a serpent, Rahu the head and Ketu the tail, Rahu takes us into maya and illusion and Ketu delivers us and gives enlightenment. They are the most intense energies in a chart and generally we experience them in a malefic way. This is because they have the power to eclipse, or totally obscure and blacken the Sun (soul, atma, being) and the Moon (consciousness, mind and all it's levels, pranas). They do this often through crises, and the aim is redemption. When the luminaries are eclipsed we see a light or aura around them that we would not usually see, in other words they obscure in order to reveal. It is said that Rahu/Ketu or kundalini always achieve their objectives, by fair means or foul, we have little if any control here. In certain birth charts this energy is extremely exacerbated, usually in the case where Rahu/Ketu are conjunct or in other words with the Sun or the Moon or the ascendant (earth or the body), or the planet representing the soul known as the Atmakaraka, which functions like the Sun. I have looked at enough charts to tell you this is the case, and these people have the most intense experiences imaginable. Yogi Bhajan has Moon with Rahu in Aries (sidereal positions). Incedently I would love to know his birth TIME. Anyhow Yogi Bhajan got the best of it, in others the suffering is extreme and unimaginable. The Moon in my chart is very vulnerable and also with Rahu and Saturn which is AtmaKaraka, Jupiter or Guru is on the other axis with Ketu. So although I would agree that a clean kundalini rising may be associated with perfect health, oftentimes it is the reverse, and the very nature of Rahu/Ketu make for all manner of health problems, it is the most unnatural thing in the world for kundalini to flow in an otherworldly direction, and can cause problems you wouldn't even begin to imagine, and from which seem inextricable. The energy that flows through these channels, the shakti, is Mars, the cosmic electrician. Mars (not Mercury) represents the wiring or nerves, as well as the electrical currents flowing through them. Mars is the juice flowing through the earth, and yes sometimes he is a dodgy electrician, and crosses wires, or even in the best of cases blows bulbs and fuses and short circuits. Now Mars is hot and fiery and impulsive and headstrong. Most yogi's and yogini's will have a prominent Mars, because in yoga we are directing, in a benign sense manipulating , or however gently forcing the energy in a certain direction, and Mars is the directing, goal orientated energy. Yes, Saturn helps with the stillness and discipline but remember Mars gets exalted or Uccha (high) in the sign of Saturn owned Capricorn. This is like being in the army where Mars is not just running amok, but is highly disciplined and controlled, Mars in Capricorn. This enables Mars to then encounter the adversaries he loves to face ie. doing our yoga and overcoming. The point I am making is all these planets mentioned are tamasic and malefic. They are willful, erratic, headstrong and extremely powerful. They are not like the benefics which are always appeasing. Everybody is under the influence of kundalini, and kundalini always succeeds in her objective, everyone is under this process of awakening, aware of it or not. When you are in periods of Rahu/Ketu shakti takes specific control, you may not even know. But she always shows you the most incredible things, not things you sought either necessarily, usually it is a tremendous surprise. Who knows where the story ends, I am in Ketu dasa and hope for the best, for years I have smoked dope which helped and didn't help at all, to manage this extreme dysfunction. Now I have stopped and seem as determined in my quitting as I was in my using. Apparently my chart resolves in my early forties and from then I have a nice life. At age 43 I am in Ketu/Rahu period, I have never known astrology to fail. I better do my yoga now, though I feel hot and intense, yesterday I felt like I could pick up the world around me and throw it, the energy I described in the beginning is so hard to bear, infuriating, but then if Mars is fire, Ketu is an infrared laser so I just have to hang in there. This mail I have written out three times, twice it got deleted, I ought not of written it I know that, but that is just how crazy things are for me, so sorry. All blessings, Sukhnivas S. Guest guest
Thank you Sukhnivas S., For sharing this with us, I appreciate it very much, I read enough for now to actually see something that can help my understanding of the process which I have been under going since 1985 when my crown blew off. And, the process does continue, no matter what good or difficult health problems a person has, had or will have. We that have it either deal with it or not. I am deeply glad that you shared this knowledge and experience that you have and are having. Just a little bit has helped me greatly and now I have it to re-read until I understand what I need to know. Guest guest
Sat Nam Hi Sat Avtar Kaur, When I look back at my life, none of it makes any sense or is coherent. I have just been on your site to investigate K syndrome, and trawled the web, but there is little out there and much of it contraindicatory. For example Ana Bret says that in 40 years she has never encountered a genuine K syndrome but I am not so sure about this. I know people who just dont make sense. I'll give a story but thats it no more, computers are the worst for these kinds of problems. I was once living in a rough place, and the neighbours were just awful, anyhow a conflict developed and the end result was they sent some boxers to beat me up. Well when they arrived and grabbed my wife who was outside with our 1year old baby, I jumped out the window and I knew I was going to kill them, and that thought horrified and scared me deeply, so I went cold instead, they kept hitting me but couldn't knock me out no matter what, they couldn't get me to fall. My wife however fought like Durga with the woman who started this and at one point had her by the hair inches off the ground, afterwards she told me she could easily have finished her off, and this woman knew that. Afterwards they put a hit on me and the stress put me in hospital. On a day release I went to a friend and he showed me a video, and it was the wierdest video I have ever seen, cant think of the name. But in that moment everything intergrated in me spontaneously. I left the hospital despite their resistance and was deeply fearless, I didn't care if I should be killed. My wife and child had gone away and I came home at midnight alone and everything from that moment on was synchronistic. The third eye opened and I didnt see visions or anything, except the Universe moving and waving with me, but I could see the motivations of everyone, even on the phone, I had become like a big eye, also I could command and control in my enviornment, and felt beyond all states. Then my friend introduced me to this guy who was as mad as a hatter, yet a genius, he was an egyptologist and wrote books and drew pictures and hireoglyphs, and everything to him was numbers and gods and godesses, you couldn't have a straight conversation, I mean he was intense. But he explained the snake symbolism at the third eye seen in egyption pictures and how K has to go up and back down. He told me his friend had this, but he had reached the height of knowledge, then crashed and now lived as a homeless bum. He said you just don't know, that homeless person could be that man. I then investigated through different teachers and it turns out that many K folk end up homeless and burnt out. Incredible isnt it. Anyhow after 3 days this experience went for me and I became even more unwell, but no one ever tried to hurt me, although I often get scared for no reason. I find all this very strange, I wonder what the point is, these experiences, and then not even being able to do what a normal person does who doesnt believe or anything, kind of cruel in a way. Extremely humbling. For me KY is the way, it can give some bliss and peace and inner knowing if only for a few hours like Kelli said. I laugh when people say KY is dangerous, in fact its the only sanity I have ever really experienced. It really does seem to align this energy in a safe and beautiful way. Thank you Yogi Bhajan, Thank God, Wahe Guru!! Love from, Sukhnivas S. or Paul Kundalini-Yoga , " sat_avtar_kaur " <myralorey wrote: > > Thank you Sukhnivas S., > > For sharing this with us, I appreciate it very much, I read enough for now to actually see something that can help my understanding of the process which I have been under going since 1985 when my crown blew off.
