Guest guest
Greetings allI am wondering what YB has said about happiness.I know we hear about it alot and that it's important to be happy but I always felt like just wanting to be happy was ignoring the morality part of life. I mean, aren't we supposed to face our fears and show courage and stand up for injustices? Is that what dharma is? I am not sure I really get the concept of dharma.I think happiness is just one piece of the enlightened pie. I mean, to me being happy would mean accepting that life has it's ups and downs and to make the best of things. How do people define happiness?Paula

Sat Nam Paula, ....first of all it is our birthright!! About " happiness " you should read " The Teachings of Yogi Bhajan - The Power od the Spoken Word " (products/p07001.html), a collection of Yogi Bhajan's phrases divided by topics.........real food for thought :-) Blessings, Sujan S. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Paula, One of the more important Yogi Bhajan teachings on " happiness " are the seven steps to achieving it. 1. Commitment - gives you 2. Character - which brings you 3. Dignity - which connects you to your 4. Divinity - which is manifest as your 5. Grace - which leads to the 6. Power to Sacrifice - and that capacity of selfless service is the root of 7. Happiness [Yogi Bhajan always used to say it wasn't reasonable to expect someone to become happy is you didn't teach them the steps.] Harbhajan Kaur HappinessPosted by: " Paula Lucidi " plucidi onefunnybabeThu Dec 24, 2009 6:13 pm (PST) Greetings all I am wondering what YB has said about happiness.
