Guest guest
Sat nam- Thanks in advance for answering. I'm looking for more insight and clarity into the differences between the magnetic field, the aura, and the arcline and their relationships to each other. Why do we sometimes use the term " magnetic field " , and not " aura " , and visa versa? Are they totally the same, or is there some quality of using the term " aura " that the term " magnetic field " doesn't encompass? Is the arc line (both head and chest) apart of the aura, and if not, what aspects of their function set them apart? I taught the set last night " Magnetic field and heart center " and explained the magnetic field as I would the aura, which got me thinking about all this. I've always interpreted the heart as being the generator of the aura (a la star trek: warp coil to shields Is this accurate? Thanks and blessings! Guest guest
Sat Nam Jojo ji, When speaking of these 3 elements in relation to ourselves, it's a pleasure to understand the interconnections, relations and similarities between them. Working from outwards, inwards, first in this grouping is the EM Field. In my readings and experience, when we speak about the EMF, you're talking about the Earth's EMF, the Body's own EMF, and thirdly, the relationship between them. We are affected and protected by the Earth's own EMF. Also when talking about grounding, or being grounded, we can discuss the EMF. We also create our own EMF which is contained around us and works in the same way. Because we are sentient beings who emanate an electrical pulse, we have an EMF. And, like the Earth, it originates at the core of our body - at the Heart (oui, a la Star Trek), and that EMF can be strengthened and adjusted to protect us and affect our environment by working on the Heart. Is that similar or the same as the Aura? When Yogi Bhajan speaks of the Aura, he speaks of it as combining the effects of all the other chakras. And it is spoken of as a type of " circumvent field " . It is a energy shell or shield, that when strong improves the function of all the other chakra and bodies. It filters negative influences around us, and attracts positive influences to us. It is described as having the capacity to extend 9 feet to either side of you in a round, symmetrical field when strong. It also relates to the integrity of the body's EMF. So, the Aura encompasses more than what is the EMF field. It also relates to the EMF field, it can affect and adjust the EMF field, and is also made up of the EMF field. They are the same, meaning that the Aura contains or relates to the EMF, and the EMF field is part, or a portion of the Aura. Also, while the EMF is related to the Heart and related Electromagnetic energy, the Aura is directly related Arcline (explained shortly), and to the 3 Minds Bodies, and specifically the Positive Mind. So, the Aura is related to the Arcline, and Positive, Negative and Neutral minds (with the Neutral/Meditative mind being linked to the Heart, Service, Love, Compassion), in addition to the EMF, AND the 7 other Chakras. So, semantically speaking, the Aura essentially is the EMF of your body, and acts the same way as the EMF surrounds the earth. But the EMF can also be defined as relating to the Earth, or just the portion of the Aura, or the Energy of the Heart relating to the Electric and Magnetic aspect of the Aura. Basically, for all intensive purposes, this was a long way of saying they are the same (but slightly different). You may speak about them interchangeably and not be " incorrect " . What is the relation of the Aura to the Arcline? The Arcline is the nucleus of your Aura. It is the same as your Aura, but the more concentrated and focused center of it. It is the Auric core, the spinning center, and the Halo of your body. Specifically it runs from earlobe to earlobe across the forehead (which is why we keep our foreheads exposed). And for women, also from nipple to nipple across the chest (not exposed). They are similar in action and function. The Arcline is directly connected to the Positive, Negative and Meditative minds. It acts as a shield and defense mechanism. It also attracts opportunity. But since it is the Nucleus, it has slightly different characteristics. (Remember the Aura acts as a shell, filter, relates to the EMF field, and contains and enhances the other 7 chakras). The Arcline is directly related to your 3rd eye, pituitary, nervous system, glands, protection of the heart, and your Radiance. It is like the core energy generator, much like the Heart is the core of the EMF, or the spinning core of the Earth is the generator of the Earth's EMF. In its effects, the Arcline relates to the power of your protection and projection, your intuition and your focus. It allows you to project positivity and truth, and teach and talk about Dharma with caliber and authenticity. And it protects you from external stresses so you don't have to shut down your Heart to cope. It also relates also to your Pranic Body and your Subtle Body to align your life force (prana) with your destiny. What that means is that the Arcline is the bridge with Infinity, where we can relate to the Heavens and the Universe. It is the connecting point between the physical body and the cosmic energies of the Universe. Yet, we can't discuss all these without one other final element, which is the Radiant body. As the Aura relates to the 8 Chakras, the Radiant body relates to the 10 Bodies. It encapsulates and strengthens the other 10 Bodies, and when the other 10 Bodies are strong, your Radiant body shines. Your Radiant body is your shield AND your light. It relates - like the Arcline - to the strength of your Pranic body, your life force and breath. At the same time it also relates to, and shines through the power of your Arcline and Aura. It is your courage and commitment, royalty and magnetism. It is what brings things to you instead of you having to chase after them. In that sense, it also relates to the Earth, Heart and EMF, and being grounded. It is your essence and respect. It is you flowing within Infinity, when you are equally as much as a channel for Infinity, as a part of Infinity. It's important to note that all of these bodies relate to the Soul. The Heart, and Meditative mind wants to relax with your Soul. Your Arcline is the contact point for your Soul to touch with the Universe, and it relates to the Subtle body, which in a very refined state is very near to the Soul. Your Aura wants to dance with your Soul while it protects it. And your Radiant body in the purest essence is your Soul plus your radiance. Hope this shines some light on these elements of our being. It has helped me define these things for you, and made me realize a bit more about how we are spiritual beings, light and positive thought in a human shell, having a human experience. Thank you for this question! A principle in life to remember is to travel light. You are traveling all the time. Travel light, live light, spread the light, be the light. - Yogi Bhajan. Guest guest
Sat nam Fateh and Dharam ji's- Wow, thanks for taking the time to answer this so fully! The interplay of these aspects is something that I've been mulling over since Teacher Training. So, in essence, the EMF is kind of like the part of the aura that is more physical in nature, in that it relates to the earth and em energy, but without that soul energy. The Aura brings the total energy of your being, consciousness to the picture, kind of like an overlay which mingles and also surpasses the EMF in size and scope. So from the outside, they are the same. But they are inter-related, so working on one can effect the other, as well as receiving negative energy. Your explanation of the arc lines really made sense, too. Dharam, thanks for posting that link. That book is great! in peace, Kehar Kaur / jojo > > --- >
Guest guest
Sat Nam, Fateh Singh ji - Your integration of this discussion is wonderful. However, I'd like to caution you to become a little more " fine grained " in your understanding of the differences between " Magnetic Field " and Electro-Magnetic Field. " From a discussion of the atomic forces involved in creating one or the other (and they are not the same) there is a crucial distinction in understanding to be made here. Much of this observation has become clearer to me in exploring the work of astrophysicist Maurice Cotterell. I would highly recommend a closer look at this work, some important aspects of which are readily available online at http://www.mauricecotterell.com/gravity1.html under the title " How Gravity Works. " Cotterell has also contributed deep and profound new insights into the relationship between Solar Energy cycles, the Earth's magnetic systems, and the ancient sciences of Egypt, the Inca of Peru, and the Classic Maya. Perhaps you might be interested in continuing this discussion via email from the level at which you are working with these topics in your teaching, and elucidation of principles of Kundalini Yoga. Some exploratory conversations might be valuable for both of us, before either of us become verbally committed to points of view that may not be EXACTLY correct, even though the points resonate nicely with the reality. " Almost there " is not a great substitute for being " right on the Truth. " There are interests of profound importance to be discovered in the nuances and details that cursory presentation may tend to cloud over and hide from access. I think we want to avoid premature pronouncements that might do that, even though our preliminary insights " Sound True. " One of the new buzzwords for badness in public media, is that Truth can be easily distorted into " TRUTHINESS " in a process of propaganda as an illusion of what seems to be authoritative knowledge, but is not. This is how Fox News, Rush, Karl, Grover and many other right wing neo-cons have conned millions with their TRUTHY sounding pronouncements that actually add up to power tripping insanity. We don't want Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, to devolve or degenerate in our own handling of his profound guidance and teaching, into a truthy, " sounds true " kind of BS. This may already be happening to some degree, which is why the Science of Humanology really needs to become completely grounded (as it certainly can become grounded) into a completely stable network of rigorous, experiential understanding and science. If we're not trying for that degree of coherence and diligence in our points of view, we're laying the groundwork for UN-mindfulness and sloppy thinking. So, I'm proposing and offering an opportunity to clarify what is really at stake in the distinction between Magnetic Field and ELECTRO-Magnetic fields. The traditional spiritual cultures (Egyptian, Incan, and Maya) seem to have considered Magnetic to be healthy and positive, while considering ElectoMagnetic Fields as either somewhat or " very " toxic in consequence on bio-energy systems. We could explore this together. Guest guest
Sat Nam Krishna Singh ji, Of course, I'd love to take this further towards refinement. At the time, the exercise for me was a learning experience anyways: Read to learn. Write to know. Teach to master. As a tuba teacher once said to me in orchestra... " If you are going to play a wrong note, play it loud! " Pardon me for any omissions, misconceptions and errors.
