Guest guest
Sat Nam! I practice without a teacher. I am often looking for sets already put together with instruction and such (DVD). I have two already (Maya Fiennes and Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa) and I enjoy them very much. I also practice guiding myself using books. I have only been practicing and studying for 7 months. I have never been to a KY class or had direct contact with a teacher. It isn't possible in my area. So, recently I came across Yoga Today on YouTube. Most of the instructors teach Hatha styles. Sarah Kline however, teaches Kundalini. In viewing the videos, I noticed that she doesn't tune in or out. Aside from that, I am wondering if she is teaching kriyas in sets that are ordered as Yogi Bhajan taught, or if she is putting her own spin on KY as some teachers do. Since I am practicing on my own, I feel like it is important to stick to the recommendations of Yogi Bhajan and those who also follow them. I am intrigued by these videos, so I would love to hear the opinions of others. I am not looking to make this a negative thread, so if you are more comfortable emailing me offlist, that is okay too. Be blessed, Kelli
