This is in the interest of keeping toxins out of the environment, and as we must

control what comes and goes out of our 9 holes, out of us.

President Obama has reversed his position on Nuclear Power and now wants to

spend billions on a new generation of radiation venting plants. Please email and

or call his office if you would rather see more of your tax money spent on Solar

power or Wind Power instead.

Hello,I would think one should weigh the pros and cons of a nuclear generator first before writing to someone in Government. Reversing one's position is not necessarily always a bad thing. We have one here in Oshawa and people protest against and there is another one at McMaster University. I wonder how informed the protesters are. Like many things in life, if not controlled properly, it may cause problems but to outright dismiss something is not fair.

While I am not too informed about nuclear power, I have spoken with some people who are for it and have given some logical arguments for it. I think one should weigh and research both sides before letting the President know what they want.

Sat nam,

I know there are many pros to nuclear energy, but where do we put the nuclear

waste? Nuclear waste and radiation in general have a very long half life, way

longer than our lifetimes, way longer than many generations. In my opinion, we

have to find a cleaner way, even if nuclear is working for now.

Ok, lets get started:

think of the aboriginees and natives suffering from uran mining,

think of cancer clusters around power plants,

think of the danger of human failure,

think of the tons of tons of radiating waste piling each day,

think of the danger a terroristic attac contains,

think of the difference betwen bombs on power plants and bombs on solar

panels,

think of the deep connection of " peaceful use " and militaristic use of

atomic power,

think of no solution of storage yet,

think of all the safety lies revealed and unrevealed,

think of the ones who come in hundreds and thousands of years who have

to deal with our radiating leftovers,

think of the possibities renewable energies bring to local craftspeople.

Think or ... listen to your intuition

To be continued.
