Guest guest Posted February 3, 2010 Report Share Posted February 3, 2010 Sat Nam fellow Gong worshipers (is that too heavy?), Seeing that earlier post by Guru Jas Kaur on Hari Jiwan Singh gave me the added chutzpa necessary to post this message. You see, I'm just getting back from a break where I was visiting with other like-minded gong folks. I'm calling it 'Gongstock'...... Four days of Love, Peace, and sonically induced Theta-Delta states punctuated with some decent Mexican and spicy Thai. It wasn't all bliss, though, as my mission was to actually gather new gong audio samples for my online store at http://www.gongsongs.com .......and that may have have been the best part of it. Did it ever cross your mind to buy a car without driving it first?, or buy new clothes, etc, without going to the dressing room first? then you might feel the same way before committing to a new gong. Well, here is that extremely rare opportunity to do just that. I brought in some very decent recording equipment, waited until after business hours, turned off the noisy forced air heating system, and proceeded, with Alex and Kenny, to record all the Planet Gongs made by Paiste.
