Dear yogis,At least some of you, hopefully most of you, will appreciate this radio show interview of the great naturopath Dr. Mercola interviewing baby physician and congressman, Dr. Paul, on the intersection of "health freedom" and "access to natural nutrients, therapies and wholesome food". It's very holistic, starting from Dr. Mercola's explanation of why he spends so much time on politics on what otherwise is a show on natural healing, and then he and Congressman Paul start broader issues, such as the Big Business-Big Government cabal financed by the Federal Reserve, and then going down to the role of health care and natural therapies, and what we can do about the power of Big Pharma, Big Agra, Big Medica, Big Media, Big Academia and Big Government.

http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/49259.htmlI share this because yogis of kundalini, necessarily "householders", have thus an implied duty on knowing the best way to organize society (politics) to ensure maximum freedom to enjoy life as a yogi. Dr. Paul, when I was the legislative consultant for the Natural Solutions Foundation (www.GlobalHealthFreedom.org), was (and is) the sponsor of the "Health Freedom Act", which would prohibit the Big-Pharmacuetical company-dominated Food and Drug Adminstration (FDA) from interfereing in the voluntary exchange between supplement companies and nutrient consumers. Congressman Paul also is a proponent of health reform that empowers the consumer at the expense of third parties, such as bureaucrats from

insurance companies of either the private or public variety. Through a repeal of regulations that hurt naturopaths from offering natural cures, consumers, newly empowered with financial vehicles to force providers to disclose their prices - combined with a vigorous market in information about what constitutes quality care - yogis should rise as a source of healing that isn't the case now in the medical culture that is dominated by the big medical companies, regulators and an innovation-averse media. Sat nam,

As you know yesterday I posted natural doctor Mercola's radio interview of Dr.

Ron Paul, the best friend in Congress of natural health. By coincidence,

Natural Health News published a writeup of 3 bills Congressman Paul just

introduced to restore First Amendment Speech Rights to natural nutrient

companies, naturopath doctors, and holistic therapists, to advertise the

benefits of their goods and services, while restoring Fifth Amendment burdens on

bureaucracies before they can commit the midnights raids, fines and caging of

these healers. Kundalini yogis are " householders " , which implies a duty to

participate in the organizing of society, so please feel free to click on this

link, read the stories of the cancer therapists mugged by FDA and FTC, and the

cherry growers threatened with ruination if they shared how cherries help with

arthritis, and the grassroots links at the bottom how you can urge your

representative to cosponsor these yogi-friendly bills. Here's the story and how

you can help:

I used to lobby on these issues for the Natural Solutions Foundation, which is a

great group that will give you very helpful info going forward:

www.GlobalHealthFreedom.org. By the way, they are looking for volunteers to

help their organic sanctuary in Panama; if interested, please contact Dr. Laibow

via the website.

Sat nam,
