Guest guest
Sat Nam Karta Purkh Singh,I remember that event well. The SSS taught us never to go anywhere without our instruments and always be prepared to play! (Luckily, the organ was already there.)Thanks and blessings,Sahib-Amar KaurA long time ago, back when the Siri Singh Sahib was still leading White Tantric, I was in Chicago for just such a course at the sumptuous University of Chicago Rockefeller Chapel. We all filed into this magnificent house of worship, awed by the stained glass windows, rich dark wooden pews and marble floors (surprisingly comfortable for a weekend of Tantric). Also, there was a magnificent multi story pipe organ with all the bells, whistles, stops, switches, etc. etc.Yogi Bhajan walked in, looked around, pointed to Amar Singh (one of the correspondents on this list) and pointed to the organ. I believe all he said was "Play!" We were treated to a short sweet concert by a skilled musician. I value Amar Singh and Sahib Amar Kaur as musicians, friends, and co-conspirators on this Dharmic path. I also value them as intelligent commentators on this board and discussions of a musician's rights. I have duplicated purchased cds for personal use. I agree that the mp3 purchase of individual tracks is probably the most economical wayu to build a library of spiritual music.Thgey have them onSpirit Voyage and even on itunes if you look.
