Sat Nam and hello. Want to pass on info for a workshop at the Millis, MA ashram

- the Baba Siri Chand Yoga Center. Many of you may know the instructors involved

- Dr. Shanti Shanti Kaur Khalsa, of the Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine and

Humanology, and Dr. Sat Bir Singh Khalsa, Director of Research for both KRI and

Kripalu. The workshop, on February 27th, will focus on the current research

findings on yoga and meditation. It will also address how scientific studies on

the benefits of yoga and meditation might inspire your own practice as well as

your teaching and marketing. This workshop is designed for yoga teachers and

health care practitioners and includes:

• An introduction to the scientific research on meditation

effects on mood, immune, brain, heart and lung function.

• How the practice of yoga and meditation mediates

health outcomes for people with diabetes, high blood

pressure and cancer

If you are anywhere near Millis, MA (or want to make a worthwhile road trip)

please consider this workshop led by two phenomenal teachers. For more info

please go to kundaliniyogane.com. Sat Nam and thanks!

If this could be taped and linked somewhere, I'm sure lots of yogis would like

the internet to have this as a reference whenever someone asks about the science

behind kundalini yoga.

Be sure to email the link, once you've taped it, to

kundalini-yoga , so we can use the link for marketing the Yoga of

Awareness to our students and the vast pool of future customers. I'll probably,

for example, post the link at my Facebook profile.

Sat nam,

Amar Atma
