Guest guest
Sat Nam sacred Sangat! Its the time of the year to prepare for a spring time cleanse. As the winter snow melts and washes away the buildup and decay of the winter season past, so it is with the natural cycles of our body as well. The heat of the spring time quickening gets us moving and starts to melt away the winter fat stores. With this natural cycle comes the release of toxins in to our systems, taxing the immune system contributing to reduced energy levels. Its a great time to get that stagnant lymph moving with some exercise like a Kundalini Yoga Kriya for 40-120 days. I will be going back on to a kicharee diet for a few weeks or a month myself. It is very important to stay hydrated this time of year as dehydration leads to excessive mucous which is the breeding ground for viral and bacterial infections contributing to the infamous spring time cold and flu season. I got out my neti pot and almond oil last week as I noticed the change of season brining on some seasonal congestion. If you have any creative input or suggestions or would like to join us for the group support please check in the spring time Kicharee cleanse group at http://aquarianpilgrims.ning.comspringkichareecleanse. There are some great Kicharee recipes available in this forum as well. Many blessings to you and your family as we bring in this new season of our lives.
