Guest guest
Sat Nam all! Thank you so much those who responded with help for my student who had Kundalini headaches -- she has been very much helped by even diaphramatic breaths and by increasing water intake! Can anyone suggest a remedy for someone-- a bright student battling depression-- who finds herself clenching her jaw in times of stress but also whenever she has a strong feeling -- even joy or being recognized for an achievement? I figured on Meditation for Addiction but thought all of you out there might have specific luck . By the way, Happy First Day of Spring! Guest guest
Hello,I would suggest using ganpattee or maybe kirtan, that way she works on her subconscious level and actually is less provoked by stressful events. GP is good for depression since it helps with making one happy. I've worked with it a lot so I like doing it and then she can do things like 10 bodies or other more physical sets, to get the energy flowing PaulaOn Sat, Mar 20, 2010 at 9:22 PM, Wambezi Ungowa <premdevkaur wrote: Sat Nam all! Guest guest
Sat Nam, I've compiled all the recent info and discussions on this topic from this board that includes meditations, thoughts and yogic advice on TMJ and Tooth Grinding... You can grab it here for free download: http://www.fatehsinghyoga.com/words/tooth_grinding.pdf -- Also, there's a meditation for " Getting Free of Cold Depression " that I picked up today at the Superhealth workshop here in NYC taught by Mukta Kaur Khalsa... It's #NM0363 - Oct 17th, 2000 Espanola, NM. Try to track that down to help with depression. -- Finally, the following lectures from Yogi Bhajan may help (they certainly can't hurt!) Guest guest
Fateh's compilation is great! I have one other thing I discovered years ago when working with a professor, female, with TMJ. When I worked on her NAVEL, I suspected because of the vagus nerve, she did better than when i focused solely on her head, neck and jaw area. She also had bad headaches.
