Guest guest
Sat Nam: I was trying to search through the group archives--and the internet-- to find a clear written and/or visual description of the Meditation for Integrating the Right and Left Frontal Lobes. All I have is this description, posted I believe in Sept 09.....I just can't translate this description. Sorry! Could anyone help? Here's the description "sit straight in a cross-legged positions with the hands held up in front of you palms face down and slightly apart with the fingers pointing toward one another. now imagine that the hands are stacked one on top of the other, or merged together, flat against your forehead, with the palms facing out. Do not actually place your hands there." could someone clarify: Where precicely are hands held up 'in front of you'? At chest? in front of face? Does 'slightly apart" mean a few inches? And I'm confused by the next step.....the imagined mudra. We keep hands in one physical mudra but visualize them in another? I am very interested in this kriya (I have strong impulse to learn it, and then maybe teach it someday). so of course I want to make sure I understand exactly what one is supposed to do. has anyone had experience with this one? Thanks and blessings Upma Kaur
Guest guest
Sat Nam. Sounds like an interesting Kriya. I'd be interested to hear an accurate response. When I first read the title I was sure you were talking about the tattvas balance meditation (also known as synchronization meditation) from the TT manual (p406). If you can't figure this one out, I'd recommend that one for similar results - according to Yogi Bhajan, and Guru Dev Singh, is great for balancing the hemispheres. In case no one responds, your next step would probably be to contact KRI or Tej Kaur in LA who was the archivist for many years and is familiar with many kriya details.
