Guest guest
-Dear Dr.Ananda, your reflections on swamijis references to the unconcious mind made me reflect on the talk he gave way back in 1980/82 on pondicherry radio. part of what i heard drew me to the thattanchawady ashram. He did hint on many issues like the unconciuos, subconcious, and the superconcios states. You have used words like bringing the unconcious to the concious level, cleansing it controlling it etc. I want you to also considerwhether it is possible for us to understand it in its whole without dissecting it,understand it,try to be aware of its immense strength, the fullness of it and see if you can go beyond it. This needs intelligence(not intellect)beyond what is taught in traditional yoga., I am not claiming that i know it except that now i am aware of what i cannot do about it especially after it gave me a glimpse of what is not me. yours sincerely, Narasimhan.30thjan2004 -- " Dr.Ananda Bhavanani " <yognat2001 wrote: > > Unconsciousness: The Only Enemy A True Yogi Must > Confront > > “You have only one enemy, only one devil in your > life,” Swamiji was fond of telling us, over and > over.
