Guest guest
Hello there, Just a quick note to say that I found the team quiz questions difficult. The yoganjali students are awesome. I taught my last White City yoga class on Monday. We ended by playing a team game. I split the students into two groups and gave each team 4 cards (one for each person--they chose who got which card). I limited the poses to the samasthithi group and had warned the students (the week before) that they would have a quiz on this group. The cards were two types: 1) had the sanskrit name. Students had to tell me what it meant in English and perform the pose 2) had the physical picture of the pose (Kalavathi, I stole your poses off of the internet). Students had to tell me what the sanskrit name was. Something about the pose. (For instance, for nataraja asana, who is it named after). They then had to perform the pose. Some students have taken 3 (10-week) classes with me and I think that the game went over well. We had fun this last 10 week course focusing on animal poses (it " evolved " that way). This White City group likes to make noises. As you might imagine, they loved the donkey kriya and simha nada.
