Dear Dr, Ananda,

this is in continuation of the discussion going on

the subject .

for quite sometime i also believed that basically

all human beings are made up of more or less the same

--material and it is upto our own efforts of what we

can do and achieve till i heard few months back on tv

maharishi maheshyogi explaining how we are limited to

someextent in our evolution and growth by the

substance we inherit as DNA from our parents. The so

called vasanas are part of this.

Soil can be from marshy areas, foot of the hill with

lot of stones, sand from riverbed and clay.Basically

all this is " Mud "

But what we can make out from each type of mud is

determined by the intrinsic variations whithin itself.

In a subtle way it also partly explains our own

different capacities, physically, intellectually and

otherwise, and the different levels of understanding

the same subject by students in the same sitting .

..In a yogic sense the fair trying to get the suntan

and the notsofair trying to look more fair are in the

same boat of " Becoming " , and not in tune with their

own reality'

Yoga is in being yourself now as you are with

awareness

Narasimhan.

NAMASTEY NARASIMHAN

I agree with MAHARISHI .We all have the same potential but have not refined

our equipment to the same degree. Abasic analogy is that some souls have

very refined and powerful equipment that can pick up music and conversations

that thew basic models cannot and therefore it does not exist to them. Other

radios can only get a hiss...it is about being able to tune in to the

appropriate vibration.love in yoga sonia
