We are conducting the 20th Pondy State and 2nd Tamil Nadu Invitation Yoga Sport Championship, 14-15th August 2005

I hope that you can help our Pondicherry Yogasana Association by sponsoring the event to some extent

i expect more than 400 participants and felt that maybe your companies may have something that appeals to the age groups of 4 to 40 that could be advertised through the event as it is before the Diwali shopping season

i am sorry if this puts u in an odd position but have no problems with either a yes or no!

I wish to introduce to you the Pondicherry Yogasana Association, which is the official body for Yoga Sports in Pondicherry. It is recognised by the International Yoga Federation (South America) as well as the Asian Union of Yoga (New Delhi) and affiliated to the Indian Yoga Federation (Kolkata).

Founded by Yogamaharishi Dr Swami Gitananda Giri Guru Maharaj in 1975, the PYA has been active in conducting Yoga Sport events such as 19 Pondicherry State Level Yoga Sport Championships, five Swami Gitananda Best Youth and Child Award Competitions and the State Level ‘Himalaya’ Yoga Olympiad Competition in 2001. We have also assisted the Govt of Pondicherry, Tourism Dept in conducting the International Yoga Festival for the past 12 years.

Yoga Sport is the best activity for youth of our beloved country as it entails virtually no infrastructure nor equipment that is required in other sports such as Cricket, Hockey etc. It acts as a catalyst in stimulating the youth to take up a holistic practice of Yoga that has been scientifically proved to be of great physical, mental and emotional benefit for the individual. Yoga is a preventive science and by our youth taking up its practice we can save great man power and money power of our nation that is otherwise pumped into the health (disease!) system.

We are planning to conduct the 20th Pondy State and 2nd Tamil Nadu Invitation Yoga Sport Championship on the 14-15th of August 2005 and request you to publicize the competition in your centre/association/school/institute and send maximum number of participants from your side. There will be separate prizes for Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu in every category.

Any sponsorship from well wishers is most welcome as the competition is being conducted on a non-profit basis by the PYA.

Sponsorship Details

 

We request you and your organization to be a part of the 20th Pondicherry State and 2nd Tamil Nadu State Invitation Yoga Sport Championship by sponsoring the competition. Given below are the categories for sponsorship. Please select the category that you feel is comfortable to you.

Grand Sponsor Rs 10,000 and above.

Sponsor Rs 6,001 to Rs 9,999.

Co-Sponsor Rs 3,001 to Rs 6,000.

Donor Rs 3000 and below.

We shall be honoring all the sponsors at the time of the Valedictory Function on 15th August 2005 and welcome you to be with us that evening as well as participate in the competition fully. Names of sponsors will be included in all invitation and advertisement materials.
