Guest guest
Namaste I was reflecting on Jesus' birth in my morning meditation and the following inspiration came to my consciousness: A Christmas Message Today is a special day. Not only is it a Christian Holy Day but a Holy Day for the whole of humanity also. Two thousands or so years ago Christ Consciousness, the Universal Consciousness incarnated fully into the body of baby Jesus who was to become Jesus Christ, the teacher of humanity. Christ comes from the Greek word meaning the 'anointed one' - spirit made manifest. On this day we call Christmas we celebrate this birth, rejoice in a feast amongst family and friends and give each other gifts. Let us not forget however the true meaning of Christmas, of Christ's message which is TO LOVE, TO FORGIVE, TO TRUST GOD and to BELIEVE in EVERLASTING LIFE. Christ taught us that we are all children of the One Father made in His Image. Forgetting this is the ignorance that leads us to selfishness, hate, wars and all kinds of divisiveness amongst us. We can therefore only ever condemn the sin and not the sinner as it is enjoined upon us to shower kindness on everyone we encounter and to forgive those who do ill against us. For the Christ spirit is in all things including our hearts when we remove our own darkness and fears. God speaks to us through the bird songs, our wisdom and words of encouragement and peers at us through loving glances and stars shining in the firmament of the night sky. May we have eyes to see God in everyone and everything and ears to hear God in all words of Truth and within our Hearts as gratitude and devotion. Peace unto You and the World.
