Guest guest Posted March 4, 2007 Report Share Posted March 4, 2007 SAGAR UNIVERSITY VISITS ICYER On the 26th February 2007, ICYER reverberated to the rhythm of energetic and enthusiastic Bhajans sung by a team of 32 members from the Sagar University of Madhya Pradesh. The group led by Dr Ganesh Shankar, Head of the department of Yogic Sciences at the Dr Harisingh Gour University also included Dr Chidda Giri and Smt Raj Giri of Patiala and Dr. Nitin Korpal and Aparna Halwe who are faculty members of the Yoga dept. The research scholars and Post Graduate students enjoyed a tour of the important places in and around Pondicherry including the famous hanuman temple and also met Dr Madanmohan at JIPMER for an interaction on Yoga research being conducted at JIPMER. Students of ICYER enjoyed the Bhajan session along with the interesting interaction with the group who enjoyed a sumptuous lunch at ICYER specially prepared for the occasion.
